Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

10% off @ Dan’s with SEPT10 - ends today:

Found this error this morning - different delivery addresses, from same shop!

Bit too slow, appears to have been fixed. Was waiting for SEPT40 or the like to be extended before jumping in, + another 5% off for GCs. Could have had for <$250. Bugger!!!
SEPT40 was actually extended on Monday - you missed the banner? :(

I had one of my 24 last night. What a mistake I made @Dr Ralph !!

I should have bought 48! It was delicious, loved it.
Same. Had tonight (Devitt & Moore – Limestone Coast) Used 500ml for beef cheeks. Drank the rest. Easily worth the $6.50 paid and recommended to other AFF members. Putting the rest away for a decade. Shame some AFF members have zero regard for mystery wines posted at bargain prices. Does seem strange they waste their time watching and commenting on AFF when they contribute nothing. But then again bullies exist everywhere. Fortunately it's super easy to block argumentative/aggressive/ungrateful AFF members.

Leasingham Single Vineyard Provis Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 is today's WInestar 'mystery' wine. Anyone know it?
I bought some of this at about the same price back in 2022, from a Langton's Unreserved auction. It was very hard and ungenerous at the time, but seems to be settling down now, had a bottle 6 months or so ago.

Currently $29.50 in a 6-pack with free freight on CellarOne.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds a bit like like every Clarendon Hills mystery wine I've tried. Even the older ones are brutal.

Apparently Cashrewards is closing down permanently next month so if you have anything pending or untracked I would try to get on top of it asap.
I withdrew all my $$ a few weeks ago.
It will be interesting to see if my pending rewards for future stays will be honoured.

I did the same and only have $20 pending so no great loss. Others have hundreds pending though

Yes, for me the major place I got cash back was accommodation booking, particularly on booking.com and these can take a couple of months to come through. Luckily I only have one upcoming booking currently and as Shopback is offering the same % cash back I’ve just cancelled and rebooked via Shopback.
Wouldn’t be feeling as comfortable if the booking was in the recent past.

Needs a very good decant or a couple more years in the bottle. Was banging on day 2 but a bit hot on day 1 without given any time to open up. It'll be lovely jubley in a few years if you like that sort of style.
After this comment I wasn’t expecting much from the Dowie Doole. Was surprised to see the diam 5 closure with almost no colour on it, and made sure I aerated it…first mouthful hot with alcohol but it settled nicely and I found it quite lovely. Will be great in a few years.
