I had a bottle and quite liked it. It is a bargain at $30 IMHO. The HH review pretty much sums it up. I liked it more than 389 2017 I had recently but 389 probably needs more time.Hey Olympicwiz - what's your verdict on the Nebu? Is 12 too many?

I dont think the Nebu is a $100 wine (and I enjoy less than Shad or Mesch) but very happy to pay $30 for it
Tough crowd ...Definitely not even close to $100 wine. I got the 2016 for $20 during one of the many sales this wine has been dumped on during Covid and even at that price I wasn’t impressed. Hopefully 2018 is better as it was a very good vintage in Barossa.
Or discerning maybe - I don’t rate Nebu at all and will never buy againTough crowd ...
Of the wines going for around $30 mark what are people preferring instead?Or discerning maybe - I don’t rate Nebu at all and will never buy again
I was pleased with how the '18 nebu was drinking for a $30 wine. Everyone I tried it on liked it a lot without my mentioning price. I can't think of any wines in the $25-35 range that I like a whole lot more. But everyone is different heyConsidering that Chateau Langoa Barton is a $100 wine then I would suggest that Nebu is a $10-20 dollar wine relatively speaking.
Chances are if you like old world wines Nebu won't be to your likingConsidering that Chateau Langoa Barton is a $100 wine then I would suggest that Nebu is a $10-20 dollar wine relatively speaking.
