Hmm, maybe I had a dud. I bought a 6 pack of 2017 Voyager Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and when we opened one, it was simply undrinkable.
Sent the rest (5) to the auction.
Voyagers premium range is usually pretty reliable, I have had a few of the 17's and all have been good. From memory it went alright with a few of the critics as well.

I have been buying Voyager Estate flagship CabSav for a long time. But that 2017 bottle we cracked wasn’t great at all.

For $99, still somewhat expensive but pretty sure this matches up to Wynn's Michael Shiraz 2018 based on review scores, langton classification and alcohol content. Not as cheap as in the Mystery boxes, hah. Ordered and will report back if i'm correct or not.

I was correct. Just arrived and definitely the Michael Shiraz 2018. No tissue paper wrapping like from Wynns but not complaining for $99.

So I'll blame this forum for my weakness last year and thus have a winemaker100 credit. Only penfolds eligible option appears to be a st henri 2018 in a pack with st peters shiraz and wynns riddoch cs for $192 after discount. Any thoughts ? Also qualifies for a bonus 6 pack- bin 311 ($210), 389 ($508ish), Leonay riesling and something else. Any worth picking up same time?
Cheers,
Kris

Not suggesting the prices are red hot, but the range is MASSIVE both in terms of Penfolds and other Australian classics.

I'm sure there's some great value buys in the mix, like the Hoddles which normally sells out in weeks.
