Dang it. I would maybe have gone for the $275 box but for it having disappeared. Went for a $250, and chose the one that had only 5 left instead of over 50 left, in the hope that somehow rarity translates to amazing valueness... now we wait. Maybe this will turn out to be fortuitous but given my poor luck/mismanagement in the past I expect I'll end up with some weirdly overpriced wolf blass while others display a miracle box and gently crow... sigh

Here's what I've been able to track down. A fair few more "mystery packs containing mystery packs" this time around.
Interestingly this has resulted in some of the mixed packs being listed at a higher price than their contents was originally. Those ones are all real mysteries anyway, but you might be able to gamble on ordering the cheaper of the two (eg. the $275 MixD Mystery Mix Pack (Red) should have the same wines as the $125 Mystery Mix Pack (Red) #1).

Given that these mostly contain other mystery boxes rather than specific cases, the RRP or "Item Price" I list here is particularly vague, and usually not at all related to how much these would actually cost to buy. I'm guessing it's more that these are previous mystery boxes that have been listed at that price in an earlier sale.

Not so much an RRP of $125, I don't think, just that it's previously been listed as a $125 Mystery Box. Would be interested to see what's inside it!

Yeah it's very strange. Best guess is that they set these prices without considering what the previous mystery box was listed for?
As far as I can tell, the wines in the "Item" link should be identical, and from a quick check they seem to share stock levels, so yes, I would probably gamble on ordering the cheaper box if interested. Since that box technically is not listed on the deals page, though, I'm not 100% sure how cellardoor would respond if there were a bunch of orders for them.
It’s really strange for the order I placed yesterday, with a confirmation email that it was $68 for 6 bottles of wines, is now changed to 12 bottles @ $72 in my order list. TWE changed the content after I placed the order.
