Given the thought provoking discussion and debates in the "Advice on champagne" thread, I thought it'd be a great idea to start another thread on whisky in the hope that someone here may be able to assist with my suboptimal (ie, non-existent) knowledge of whisky! The OH's birthday is coming up...

If you can find it at Danny M's The Collective Semillon/Savvy B 2021 for $7 a bottle, yes you read that correctly, is a wine that I found to be
stunning for the coin. Had one that we brought along to Mungo and loved it and had another yesterday. Do yourselves a favour and impress
not only yourself but the guests. And to WandD , if you like a full flavoured bianco, this is one you won't be returning.

Well I used a birthday credit for 3x 2020 St Peters at $32 and I feel quite happy.

As for Langtons sale, I'm still hoping carpe diem is up next week, but maybe that's wishful?

Almost every item in the clearance list is unavailable state wide in my state.... . Not sure what's up

I guess someone just broke something….I suspect that is now showing the history of all previous clearance items….I was hopeful that it was something related to Black Friday.

Yep, plenty of my favourites showing at great prices but when I can actually find them in stock they are all at full RRP

The discounted prices have nothing to do with Black Friday, just in that every 2nd month BWS stock clearing cycle. Need to watch more closer and pounce otherwise sell out. Typically there is.only 1 or 2 bottles at the full (50%) discount rate, hence why they disappear quickly.

Just picked up a mixed box of wines on BWS clearance, 4 bottles I know the line is being replaced by the winery. With an extra spirit purchase got my spend amount up and qualified for the full Cashrewards 30% off ($25).
