I bought some bin 389 2020 using this offer. As I have not received my order as yet I rang VC today to be told they had run out of stock but SHOULD get more stock in before Xmas :(

2019 is considered one of the best vintages ever (alongside 2016, 1988, 1985), rated 98-100pts by almost all critics

Just as 1982 John Riddoch is considered the best vintage ever and an Australian classic - not to mention also made by the same winemaker, John Wade, who founded Howard Park after leaving Wynns - so to is 1994 Howard Park (now Abercrombie) - I have a better recollection/memory of the HP, but both definitely rate as two of the best Australian cabernets I've ever had in my limited experience, especially at the time

Dans now has a slider that lets you “hide unavailable items” as well as being able to select the store. Alternatively you can pick the item and choose to find nearby.

A balanced wine with a certain vitality that will allow it to age gracefully over many years.

Approachable upon release, will reward careful cellaring for 10-15 years. Perfect weef Wellington, red wine reduction and charred greens.

95 Points - The Real Review “Impenetrable core to a deeply-stained ruby-red rim. Mulberry, ironstone and dark chocolate aromatics. Rich dense and weighty, a powerhouse shiraz that's loaded with dark berry fruit and layered complexity of savoury graphite and mocha notes. Tannins are powerful but wrapped in velvet, so the palate glides with great persistence to the drying finish. Many years of enjoyment will be found here and whilst not cheap it offers great value.”

93 Points - The Vintage Journal "Deep crimson. Fresh blackberry, mulberry aromas with hints of mocha and spice. Well concentrated palate with ample pure blackberry, mulberry, dark cherry fruits, fine bittersweet/ al dente tannins, pronounced acidity and some savoury complexity. Finishes firm and minerally with inky chinotto notes. Vibrant and juicy with very good density and impact. Would benefit from a touch of bottle age. Drink 2024 – 2035 14.5% alc"

Many wine legends have had their imprint on the cellar and have helped shape the modern St Hallett, but none more critical than Stuart Blackwell. Stuart started at St Hallett in1972 and ensuring integrity and a steadfast commitment to the region, has steered St Hallett to become a jewel in the crown of the Barossa. The Blackwell Shiraz was first released in 1994, in Stuart’s honour and his tireless contribution to the St Hallett story.

Fruit for the Blackwell Shiraz is sourced predominately from Northern Barossa from vineyards in the parishes of Ebenezer, Greenock and Moppa Hills."

Subtle. :) Doesn't seem to rate as well as the 2019. Looking forward to Andrew Caillard's score for the 2020... haven't spotted one yet.
