Wills Domain Paladin Hill Matrix 2020

Strangely later I saw the vineyard mentioned in the brief on TWC.

Tried there chardonnay which I liked.

I'm opening one of these tomorrow (screw cap)

1 per year for my daughters birthday for the next 20 odd years!

Not sure if it's still on wildcard or not, but for those considering the 2018 BL CS, we had one on saturday: decanted briefily on Friday lunch time, then poured back into bottle.. drank on Saturday at ~6pm. Beautiful nose; dark fruits on the palette; tannins starting to integrate.. significant improvement since last year.

Not as good as the 2019 I don't think (although that is less approachable now IMO) and nowhere near the 2015, but there's already been some good development and i'm excited to see how it unfolds in the coming decades

At $25, a steal, even if under cork. More than drinkable now with sufficient time to open up (not a pop and pour in my mind)
