Wine Enthusiast review:
This South Aussie Cab delivers in a big way. It opens with bright, lucid aromas of red berry, baking spice, tree bark and flowers.
The tannins are well-integrated, soft yet present, gently tugging on the fruit, which gets a lift from the crunchy acidity.
It’s a modern, medium-weight Aussie Cab that should be a weeknight staple.

Vinomofo have a generic $100 voucher floating around for valentines day. Check emails

mof_LOVIN is $10. Hopefully we can find it!
Same coupon - for some lucky accounts it would mean $100 off - that is how I understood the email. No idea as to why they call it unique

Carwyn Cellars has 25% off all wine until midday tomorrow. Beer, cider and seltzers are included also (although singles only).
I found the wines I looked at were $5-8 more here.

It'd be around $68, I believe that's a very good price.

They have alot of international wines as-well, website is horrible to use for myself.

I’m a fan of Jasper Hill. Grabbed a bottle of Georgia’s Paddock and Castagna Nebbiolo.

The Nebbiolo from both Castagna and Georgia's paddock are excellent. The 2017/18 blend from the former in particular is outstanding

Was reminded today at Dan's that it's always worth checking out their 'cellar release' range - especially if you're fairly new to wine collecting like me, and looking to get your hands on wine with some age in it.

All of the below had special 'members' pricing too (except Blackwell) which basically brought the price back down to the original RRP or even lower:

- Seppelt Drumborg Vineyard Riesling 2011 - labelled 'museum release' and states it was bottle aged for "several years"; the 2011 vintage scored 94 on TWF; $30 pb
- Blackwell 2013 - $45, TWF 95
- Tim Adams Riesling 2014 - $20, TWF 93
- Craggy Range Te Kahu 2011 (bordeaux blend) - $35, TWF 94

There were heaps of other wines as well, but these were the ones that caught my eye.

I'm going to try the Craggy Range tonight and may get some more bottles elsewhere if good!

I've checked out Dan's cellar release and wasn't impressed, normally those are listed online. Most stores have a Clearance section, the last one I checked I literally did not know a wine on the shelf. I also found plenty of clearance wines on the normal shelves.

Got a good clearance at Dan Murphys Redbank (QLD) on Sunday, 2 x Peter Lehman - Margaret Semillon (2012) for $13.65 each.

Yeah, I have quite a few stores around me but I literally never go to Dan's.

I spose it's just a timing thing, you know the regulars who probably check once a week and get a good score.

I think being online, and part of these groups I'm getting much bigger scores so you gotta let the little guys get a few #wins 🤣🤣🤣
