From Ozb: Amex offer 15% back on Boozebud

You'll find AMEX offers, including this one, normally discussed in this thread:

Just grabbed Dom 2010 at Boozebud.

New customer 10% off: $249.95 - $25 = $224.95
Amex 15% back: $224.95 - $33.74 = $191.20
Shopback 14.7% cashback cap $25: $191.20 - $25 = $166.2

Plus 3x bonus points from small shop promo.

Wish it was 2008 though but $166 isn't too bad.

That's good buying! I picked up some 2010 Dom for $175 through a mate who buys WET exempt and thought that was good.
Have had 1 bottle of it so far and it was drinking well.

Just got my text from Liquorland telling me they are refunding my order for the Leeuwin Art Series Cabernet. Particularly frustrating after seeing a certain order for four cases that was delivered!
Frustrating indeed. Did you order yours for the delivery or for the pick up at your local Liquorland?
I called them up and they said there is more stock coming to fulfil the orders but who knows.

Our local doesn't stock decent wine, so rarely any good deals. My last bws haul was from a store near work but as I'm on leave that's not possible now. Hence gin being the best option.

Yes, sometimes it’s tricky to find good deals at your local store. Today I picked up couple of bottles from South Yarra and the seller who recognised me from past visits asked if I moved recently to the area. My answer was not exactly, home is about 1,700km away but I don’t let that minor detail come between me and a good deal :p

BWS? Didn't see anything interesting in Sth Yarra store...
