I also went with the "15 John Riddoch. I was tempted by a couple of the Californian reds as a change or the Reserve Coldstream Hills Pinot but I think that this for $85 represents fantastic QPR. The Seppelt St Peters 2017 also tempted me, but I got that last time Cellar Door decided to gift us all a bottle of ultra cheap top shelf plonk with no delivery fee.

I now have 3 X St Peters in my cellar from such ultra cheap gifts :) and may they continue

Apologies - just had a quick scroll through the thread but I can't find the answer - is there a way to join cellardoor.co?

I have an electric taste in wine, if you like a gewurtraminer this is the bee's knee's. Recommended by HH as a top wine under $30, DM has it for $34.95, winery price normally $30, but 67% off at $10 by the dozen, surprisingly no freight at check out. I have tried and a smart wine, but probably for consumption now. SB on special but not a fan.

Box of 2018 arrived yesterday from Tas., $136 total del'd of - Spring Vale Gewurztraminer.

Cooled it a little and opened one last night, not bad at all (for a red drinker) with a long lingering Lychee finish, good value and could see most Reisling and SavB drinkers enjoying it.

Only one available in QLD too by the looks

First time checking last night I was able to order just one for click & collect then suddenly up to 3 each time so I got 1+3+3 which came to $28 p/bottle after all discounts.

Probably was glitch in the system, see if they honour it.

Those who collected already, which vintage did you get?

I got two 16s and four 17s

They said they'd aim to send different wines if order >1 case, so there should be more than 1 wine type going out. My delivery is still in the hands of the Australia Post gods.

For reds, reports of Cabernet Merlot, 2005 or 2006 vintage. Given 2005 was their first vintage, museum indeed!

Happened to be near my local VC store today so popped in to check on my click & collect orders. As expected they had no stock available in store and suggested me to call customer service, which I did. Quick check verified there is no stock in BNE nor anywhere else in QLD for that matter.

I was positively surprised that instead of trying to cancel and refund I was offered free delivery from interstate within 5 business days. Now that’s good customer service!

The UMAMU SBS 2009 and CabSav/Merlot2006 may have been better left in a museum
somewhere Electrotec, happy though to have supported a Bushfire fund.
