I'd put money on it being Hares Chase Ironscraper. From memory this is the same speil they had for it back in 2018, mind you some ended up getting the Hares Chase Marananga Shiraz also. Still decent at $19.90, was even better at $14.90 which i though it was last time. Amazed they still have any left actually. I'm keeping my eyes out for the 2017 to hit the Under Wraps list.

The "Dark, brooding colour and palate to match" seems straight from mattinsons review. It also matches the 93 point symbol, but then the stated 94 in the text.
Hare Chase was sold and is now owned and run by Chinese Australians with a new Australian winemaker. Will be waiting for some feedback as well as ordering a couple of bottles of each. They also have now released a shiraz cabernet. Cheers

CR is currently 14% cashback at Cellarmasters and Shopback 10% at BWS - no joy with Dans atm

BWS 10% cashback is only on specific selected items. Standard 2% cashback applies otherwise.
Thanks, I didn't notice that.

I did see 15% for Langtons - but it is only for 1 item, then everything else is 1.5%

Thanks for the updates. The shady behaviour of MWG aside. Does anyone know if it is a decent wine and worth the $35?

I purchased some through the Wine Collective (same deal @$35). It is the 2018 GS TOSQ. I too was hoping (rather naively) that it was the Felton Rd. I haven't tasted it yet, but the fact that it's discounted across the board suggests it won't be as good as the 2017 (Bennie 94). No reviews on the 2018. I'll post again when I try it on the weekend

James Dominguez Secret Wine # 178 "Take advantage of this 8 Year Old, single block bottle of aged Coonawarra Cabernet at HALF PRICE ($19.95)..." is without a shadow of doubt: Allegiance Wines The Artisan Aged Release Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 Not sure I'm liking the Vivino community reviews particularly AND I don't need more wine at the moment but thought someone might be interested

HH gave 92 points - tasted July 2019.
Deep red colour with a decent tint of purple and a dense but slightly closed bouquet that promises to unfold with more time and/or airing. Savoury dried herbs uppermost. The wine is intense and robust in the mouth, with abundant tannin, but the tannin is good tannin - ripe and supple. Cherries and violets abound. A deep, solidly-structured pinot that will reward keeping, and indeed needs an other year or two. (Grapes from the Pisa district)

I'll be sure to try one this weekend and get back with some thoughts.

Does anyone know what the mystery Eden Valley Shiraz is?
My guess is Avon Brae Moculta Eden Valley Shiraz 2018, which was there earlier in the week.
Any feedback on the Avon Brae Moculta 2018? It's back again as a mystery wine, but it's not a brand I've tried before. (CM are using the 2017 description, but matches Avon Brae) I know it's made for cellarmasters, but it's one that seems to get decent reviews elsewhere.
