Has anyone tried the Sidewood Adelaide Hills Shiraz which QANTAShave up at $19.99 and had a Halliday rating of 97? Comes down to a smidge under $16 a bottle delivered with the $50 code so seems a bargain based purely on the rating but I’m not familiar with it, and trying to determine whether to give it a go or go with something tried and trusted like the SC Pannell GST

They had this out for tasting along with the GR20 cleanskin. Couldn't say I liked either. The Parker was quite green capsicum, vegetable to me.

Thanks. I didn't plan to look at mine for at least 5 years.
If you can Source out the 2016 vintage its a good quaffer and better than the 2014 & 15 were. Certainly not a wine to be aged though. Wasted 5 years of cellar space with the 2014 myself.

It's worth dropping in to your local Dan's and look for the clearance stickers in the red wine sections - a number of old vintage wines at discounted prices - Taltarni 2008, Yering Station 2011, Te Mata 15 at $28, Pio Cesare Dolcetto 15 at $15

My experience is no. They lost a sale rather than doing a split payment and I ended up purchasing the wine I wanted at another retailer
