Don't recall seeing this before. Is there some good special that I've missed that's crashing their website?

As this thread is busy and I have only read the last couple of pages, I might be duplicating information, but the 'Secret' Champagne for $50 Secret Selection Grand Cru Vintage Champagne

Appears to be Champagne Mailly Grand Cru Brut Vintage (normally retailing at $66.50)

Also, as I'm a founding member of PricePal (when it was StartHere ), I actually get 4.5% cashback!!!!

And if you like a bit of bottle age on your Champers, it's quite good.

*Edit - 20% off liquor at ebay, seems to include wines. I haven't looked in detail yet to see if anything is actually good value, as they often inflate prices before these sales.

Just a reminder, the Groupon $10 for Cellarmaster $100 voucher deal will end tomorrow noon and valid till 12 December.
Too bad that all my three vouchers quota were used and I am still wondering if I should buy the Dandelion Lionheart. :(

You can always signup for another (throwaway) GroupOn account, and buy three more. You don't seem to need a separate CM account.

For those with various voucher denominations specifically wanting the Dandelion, by my count using WISH, CR and voucher you get the following prices per bottle:

- $100 Groupon = $8.70 (on the basis 2 cases are purchased to breach the $190 threshold)
- $50 Voucher = $8.29
- $60 Secure = $7.50

Just a heads up for those who have had to stock up on Cellarmasters Paper Wine Gift Bags.

Thought I would use one last night to give a decent bottle to my sister-in-law for her 21st. Not 3 steps down the driveway and both handles break, the wine falls and smashes on the concrete. Use them with care or not all I'd say.

Cheers.

I'd be requesting a refund for both the bag and the value of the wine you lost. They sold you an item not fit for purpose.

I was just browsing through the 20% off Ebay sale and this caught my eye.

I think it's the Chapel Hill Chosen Road Shiraz 2011; when combined with 20% off it drops to approx $30 a bottle.

I know Chapel Hill gets a bit of love around here, but I have no idea of the wine quality (or lack thereof). Critics seem to think it has a few years left.

Yeah, might flick them an email and see how I go. At least let them know that their Paper Wine Gift Bags cannot hold the weight of a bottle of wine. I just tested another one and the exact same thing happened. I love CM for their commercially unjustifiable discounting, but cough like this really makes you wonder...
