Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Stop your CM buying! ;) Just received this, from Myer:

Receive a $100 Cellarmasters e-Voucher when you spend $100 or more at Myer.

Tomorrow and Saturday only! The nasty bit? They have up to 30 days to send it to you, but you then only get 7, yes 7, days to use it! Bit rough. You'll also need to be a Myer One member, but that's free.

T&Cs:

Available in-store and online at myer.com.au. Excludes purchases of gift cards, eBay, Miele and selected food and service outlets and credit card and layby payments. Purchase and redemption must be in one transaction. Minimum redemption spend $190. Must be 18 years of age. E-Voucher will be sent within 30 days if purchase to the registered email address in the MYER one account. E-Voucher valid for 7 days from send. Liquor License Number is 51205679. Myer supports the responsible consumption of alcohol. Terms and conditions apply.

... now is an e-Voucher a payment method or a "coupon"? They say "The unique promotional code must be entered at the final payment screen where prompted". Could make for a very tempting offer if you needed something from Myer anyway.

Final bit of interest:

For each qualifying purchase, one e-voucher will be sent to the registered email account. However only one e-voucher can be redeemed per transaction. Promotional codes can only be used once and cannot be used with other promotional offers.

... so split those purchases up and hope their IT is as good as usual for the last sentence! ;)

Thanks. The description on the back reads very similarly to the Thomas Yule, so it may be the same wine.
Any indication on the box that it was exported? Otherwise, if it's clean, then it may have never left the country - bonus.

AC as requested I have checked the box, doesn't seem to be any indication of export markings.

Re: Vinomofo Wine Deals

boomed on this too, cracking deal thx for the heads up

Got some last year for similar price at DM's cellar release, drank all bottles already and was waiting for another deal to restock. Didn't expect it coming from FC but I'm not complaining :)

Guys,

Just kind reminder about cashback. They are generally OK, but I have few instances I did not get cashback, saying they did not find my purchase from their click history. In fact, I checked my click history after every purchase. I suspect they may have issue backing up their data.

Excellent - thanks for the info. I've picked up a few bottles from Langtons (pretty much the same price as DM, but you don't need to buy a case). Will have to try one to see if it's any good.

Yep, definite thumbs up for their support, have always been really helpful. Especially when one didn't pay out after the order was changed (from 2 cases to 1).. they then paid me the cashback for both cases!

This secret deal Shiraz Cabernet 2009 6 pack from McWilliam's looks interesting ("Winner of four trophies and numerous gold medals ... Drinking well now but will reward up to another 15 years with careful cellaring") $180 for members + $10 delivery (normally $300). With a code it works out to $130 + $10 delivery. Unfortunately there's no indication of region making it difficult to work out the identity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can usually find the same item on their website under it's non-secret label. Bit of analysis and you should find it.

Thanks. Did try for a match, but no luck. Might just take the punt, unless common sense kicks in. Bought way too many these past months.
