Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Just had the Cracka Wine rep give me a call - some awesome Grant Burge deals if you like Meshach and Shadrach 2012 (my wallet wouldn't stretch that far)...

You sure it was the 2012? Didn't know that had been released.

Offer was 2010 Meshach and 2010 Shadrach when they called me. To be honest, the prices weren't that great - e.g. you can get the Meshach at their sister site for $3/bottle less.

Assuming most CM customers are not as bargain savvy as the members in this forum, multiple orders of the same item in short period of time would appear as an anomaly in their system.
My order for this went through okay on the weekend. Single order. However, the order tracking system still says "order received", but in the right hand column where it usually shows the total of the order mine shows $0.00.

The money is definetly gone from the wish gift card and the system generated an invoice, but why am I not feeling very confident?

My veuve clicquot from the other week was listed as $0.00 and arrived ok :)

Nothing like a bit of wine-cough. ;)

I will go with your definition Prozac :) and I agree

I'm a bit slow at posting but I am pretty happy with what I found waiting in the junk cupboard on my return to the office this week (after the recent run of excellent discount codes stacked with wish and cash back etc)

Wow. I thought I'd done well when I picked up a 6 pack of Saltram No 1 12 at $35 a bottle (from the old Cellar Door website before it was OzBarg'binned).

I opened my first bottle in May, saying (http://www.vivino.com/users/warren-dav/reviews/46256779) things like "smelling this is like crashing into a Ribena factory", "mesmerising" and "drink in another epoch". On that last note, I can safely say your $19 bargains should not be savoured until at least the 10 year mark. And even then I reckon they will still be very primary in character - such is the intensity of the fruit.

Cheers, Wozza

Duly noted if my four ever show up. Thanks Wozza.

Up there for deal of the year I'd say. Great work!

More like "steal" of the year :D
Looks like the AFFers bought the whole lot. The hard copy Xmas mailout offered the No.1 gift pack but not listed on the website.
Instead now in it's place is the Penfolds 389 gift pack. CM now got the price right $150 and save $10.
It would have been the deal/steal of the decade if it's the other way round $10 and save $150. :D
