Magill was the 2011 wasn't it? Put me off a bit, but still a great price for the Magill.

I went with the 2013 John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon for $65 a bottle. Which I wont see again until at least 2030.

It is the 2013.

Good price for JR. I assume you also ordered the 2012 vintage with the WineMarket promo few moths ago.

Great price on the Lakes Folly.

You must have got the last of it as I can't see it listed on their site anymore.

Struggling to find anything I really want to grab at CM w/ the $100 off $200.

I've got enough Maverick Twins GSM
I like Bleasdale Generations, but over $18 after discount isn't that great
While I haven't had the Gemtree Uncut, I'm not sold on biting (e.g. sounds like another sister's run type to me)

Any opinions on the value of:

Black Wattle Icon Mt Benson Cab Sauv 2012 - $17.32
Terre a Terra Wrattonbully Cab Sauv 2013 - $18.33

Or any others for that matter...

I would go for the Terre a Terre unless you dont like cork. Dark fruits medium tannins not a bad drop. Cheers

Here are a few more possibly decent ones for a more modest budget. I can vouch for the first two.

Interesting that the only Willow Bridge sold out is the [post=1483843]tempranillo[/post] :)

A few more suggestions:

Leasingham `Classic Clare` Sparkling Shiraz 2006 $41
Yalumba `The Signature` Cabernet Shiraz 2012 $37
Teusner `Avatar` Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2013 $25
Teusner `Joshua` Shiraz Grenache Mataro 2015 $23

So $64/bt before discount - was that via auction? I was tempted to choose a mix of 2013s and 2014s

No rush - you have until 1st November :)

At ~$9/bt after $100 discount and 8% Cashrewards, Gemtree Uncut is great value :)

+1

Also perhaps consider these (prices after $100 discount and 8% Cashrewards):

Icon Penfolds 6pk (2 each of St Henri 2012, RWT 2013, 389 2012) $460 ($77/bt)
Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial NV 6pk $184 ($31/bt)

Long time lurker, first time poster. Hi all!

Just logged in to Amex Connect and saw a new deal for WineStar, spend $150 get $50 statement credit.

Mike Press Cab Sav at $155.88/12 shipped would seem a decent option... brings it down to $8.82 per bottle. I haven't ever tried Mike Press wines, but they seem to get mostly favourable reviews around the traps for a mid-week quaffer.

Anything else stellar at WineStar that's worth a punt?

Welcome aboard stubacca. Nice spot on yet another great AMEX offer!

Don't see how you can go wrong with Mike Press at that price. I've been happy with their Cab Sav at around $12 previously :)

No response from Langtons so ...
Can items won at auction combined with Langton's store purchase to make up a case for shipping?
Won 1 bottle of Rusden Black Guts. First Langton's auction, blame Amex.

Think you can buy a mixed number of anything. Its $10 penalty for ordering less than 12. I'm looking at some of the $18-$22 chardys that they have Innocent Bystander, Hoddles Creek etc should reduce them down nicely and perfect fodder for visiting relatives over the Christmas period.

Is there a referral credit for Winestar, never used before. If so someone please inbox me.

Shipping for auctions cannot be combined with regular purchase. You can hold off shipping if you intend to purchase more via auctions. They charge a storage fees of $1.00 per bottle per month after the first 21 days.

If you have a broker, he/she can manually combine everything together. However you can't avoid the shipping fees (unlike the retail purchases). Only reason I can think of to do this would be to make it logistically simpler to receive fewer deliveries
