Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Wondering on opinions. I see Cellarmasters at $311 for 12 but DM are at $54 for 6

Domain Day Merlot ( One serious Merlot )

$9 per bottle less discounts is pretty dam good

for those in melbourne, meat fish wine in the cbd have 80 pinots in 80 days for $80 :)
https://apeg.co/whats-on/80-pinots-in-80-days/

VM had the latest Copper Trail for around $45 a bottle within the last 12 months.

that was the 2012 iirc, which winefront and huon hooke rated better than 2010 (95 vs 89, 93 vs 92)

PWS in S.Melbourne have the Hoddles Estate 2015 for $20 now. Probably a good option if you are in that area.

Prince Wine Store

thanks - $19 in dozens :)

I will add, though, that my purchases didn't track through to cashrewards, so I'll only be getting the WISH card discount.
I used a gift card to pay for part of my purchase, and AMEX for the rest. Cashrewards gave me cashback for the portion I paid on AMEX only.

yes, cashrewards doesn't apply to purchases paid with gift cards :(

On another note :-| i'm really late to the party for the cellarmaster discount seems like everything good is sold out, Grey label's gone, Maverick's gone, could anyone please recommend something else notable that we could still buy using the promo code?

Question for folks here - what would people value Annies Lane Copper Trail Shiraz 2010 and Taylors St Andrews 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon at? Are they worth getting for under $30 a bottle? (For reference, Dans has them between about $53 and $57). Haven't had them before and wondering if these wines really are quality.

Yes! Wanna share your source?

It was the 2012. Halliday 97pts from memory. I'll see them again in 2025.

That's not correct. I've received cashrewards by using gift card with a number of businesses (eg Dan's and David Jones), but it seems not for cellarmasters.

Hi all
i have gone a little crazy with the current Cellarmaster deals but I have one glaring hole in my collection.
i need some Cabernet and Cabernet blends.
i generally prefer the Coonawarra and Mclaren Vale styles but am open to others.
Has anyone got any recommendations of value buying to make the most of the current deals.
ta Birdyzone
Hi Birdyzone.

You want Cabernet.....I'll show you classic cabernet.

Haha Simon @ MyWineGuy sure knows how to create some intrigue with his Mystery offerings..

Mystery South Australian Shiraz
RRP - Just shy of $200 My Wine Guy Price - $74.99

This is the zenith wine in the portfolio of this brand, and it will be a name that many of you are familiar with. In fact most of you probably have this label already in your cellar.

But that is all we can tell you. It has incredible reviews and scores, nudging up towards perfection, it also has a vintage (current release but with plenty of bottle age) and comes from a very well known wine region.

That is it! No more can be said in this email, and we cannot even advertise the wine on our site, even as one of our Mystery offerings.

We can tell you the name of the wine, but only through a private phone call.

lucky you :)

general cashback guidelines for most stores include something like rewards "may not be payable if you pay by gift card" or "cannot be earned if a gift card is used"

probably another wolf blass :)

I know what it is, but agreed with Simon yesterday to not post it outside of the unmentionable other Forum, but I guess the cat will be out of the bag now that the offer has gone out in the way it has.

It's under cork if that's of any import to potential buyers, it is to me, so no buy.

Thanks beefarmer and qaz

Ah Zema. I enjoyed the 2004 but lost track after a couple of average years. Maybe I will have to reacquaint myself to its dirty goodness and forgive the lesser years. Thanks Beefarmer
qaz I missed this one as I wes stuck on a flight back from Perth but I will keep an eye out for its return.
Thanks to everyone for raising Cabernet back into the discussion and getting your recommendations out.
Cheers Birdyzone

Big W had a 10% off Big W cards special a little while back. Also you had to go instore and buy physical cards - the online ones don't work at DM
