Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

My birthday has just gone but nothing from Cellar Door as yet.
Did your birthday voucher come on your birthday or a couple of days later?

I got $25 off when spending $100 or more.
Received the email few days after my birthday.

Is it just me or is Cellar Door pricing quite ordinary?

Dan's/First Choice on special seems to be cheaper
You have to look regularly, there are a reasonable number of special deals occurring to make membership worthwhile.
Seppelt Original SS NV is regularly $16pb in 6-packs with free freight Seppelt Original Sparkling Shiraz NV | Cellardoor.co
Coldstream Hills Deer Farm Pinot 2019 was $29pb as a Wildcard Wednesday offer last week.

Saltram The Journal Shiraz 2015 $80, WB Brown Label 2015 $25, Annies Lane Coppertrail Shiraz 2016 $30 were among the buys last year.

Seppelt St Peters GW Shiraz 2017/2018 @ $58pb currently, a little more with a wooden gift box.

I was thinking of spending mine on both of the Devil's Lair Chardys (Estate and 9th Chamber). Similarly, my cellar one on the Brookland Valley Reserve Chard.

Any experience with these wines?

Does anyone know how long Cellar One referral credits last before they expire?
A long long time. I've had $40 sitting there for about 18-24 months I reckon.

IMO cellarone has gone to cough in the last year or two.....no more good deals and pricing is up. Sure, the occassional blackwell offer etc. but I find the available wines are very commercial and don't really appeal anymore.

My new joiner credit expired after a month or 2, so I missed out. I am not sure about the referee credit though since both parties do get the same credit.
The referee credit only appears once the referral had made a purchase, and I think it has no or quite a long expiry time.

Before you get too excited... Shopback's deceptive advertising listed 'up to 45% cashback' at a number of retailers including Cellarmasters
I've just checked on the CM website now it's supposed to be active and the SB plugin is showing 17.5%
Maybe a fraction too early? I went straight to the CM website just now - shopback icon flashed showing 45%. When I click on that icon it confirmed: "on your way to 45% (capped at $60)".
