Have anyone tried Kellermeister Wild Witch Barossa Shiraz 2015?

This wine won World’s Best Wine - London Wine Competition 2019 and Vivino has a rating of 4.4. Just wonder if this worth trying.
Yes, bought a 6-pack and then another 6-pack to share with a friend. I like it a lot, I've several other vintages of Wild Witch in the cellar.

It's a big wine, lots of oak and tannin, but enough fruit to cope and pretty much in balance.

Was at the cellar door this morning.
The wild witch is well balanced. Predominately Eden valley fruit so lovely soft mouthfeel pepper and spice and a finish that keeps rolling around your tongue long after you've swallowed.

Can be drunk now but future you 10 years from now will be cross you didn't hang onto it.

Thanks RB, better to get some while it still available. Much appreciated.

Dan's have the following premium shiraz pack for $549,
Tks Ralphy for the heads up - less 10% Gift and 4% SB and I like that deal - will edit with final amount when processed.

Edit: Shopback tracked at 4% of pack price pre discount - $829 x 4% = $33.14 - so $549 less 10% Gift = $494.10 less SB $33.14 = Total $460.96 - ave/bott $76.82 - ave price at list is $138.16 - that's gotta be a deal doesn't it?

Where do you get 10% discount from gift card? I thought it is only 5% from Woolworth gift card. Many thanks

Oh I posted a few weeks back that I found some 3 year old Big W GCs that I bought at 10% off - they were well expired but a quick call to Woolworths and they re-instated them.

Clarendon Hills Hickinbotham Grenache 2013 - guess around $12 after usual discounts

Finally got to try one of my three bottles. I think it is a nice wine with one issue that makes me glad I did not get anymore. First, the premium, heavy bottle, is accompanied by a 55mm cork that seemed a bit loose and easy to extract. The wine shows very nice secondary characteristics after airing, cedar and spice, both on the nose and palate, and the tannins are exquisite. This would have been a superb wine except for the acidic finish, which is overly sour and reminds me of green snakes and warheads.

Agreed. Although I found the acidity mellowed over time. Still a great buy for the price it was offered at.
