Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

(cashrewards tracks at full value, not the discounted price).

I received the following from an email from the CashRewards Member Services Team after enquiring about a cashback calculation:

"I would like to note that, your cashback will be based on the sale amount which you actually paid (after discount) and with some store, the total amount for cashback is excluded GST, delivery fee."

What am I missing? @Dr Ralph

Seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing :)

My advice is not to draw it to the attention of cashrewards!

$8.01 a bottle for Templeton Barossa Shiraz (2012?) $6.85 after GC and CR

Seems a decent price error? Shows as $15 a bottle, but changes to $8.01 a bottle at checkout. Just check total price, as after 5 bottles the price seems to jump more. I haven't tried the wine before, so this is just a punt. Made by Yalumba.

Price has been varying by store/state. My local (Manly Vale /Mona Vale nsw) showing at just over 9, others around $5-6. Try your luck!

Thanks Chonka

Had the same result - up to 5 bottles registered at 8.01 each - adding a 6th added an additional $14 to the total.
Bought the 3 that were available for click and collect at my local.

Thanks Chonka

I got 5 botts for $40 reduced to $34 with CR and Wish

3.9 on vivino and also looks like Huon Hook has reviewed the wine but I can’t see his score...

Might be worth a look around Cellarmaster at the moment?

  • 16% CR
  • 5% GC
  • Code AUSSIEWINE gives $25 off if you dont have vouchers (Minimum order of $99.00)
  • Free shipping on clearance wines

I grabbed this pack - 6 Acclaimed Alternative Reds + 1 Free Stefano Magnum

Came back at $80.84 after all the perks.

eGiftcards are also super quick lately, last one took only 14min to arrive

Are you sure its 16% off everything?

From what I'm seeing it's specific things and you need a code.

EG:

'Cellarmasters

Receive an extra 10% off selected Click Frenzy wines

16.00% Cashback

Use this code at the store checkout
CLICKFRENZY'

Almost certain its all yes. It's the only cashback rate shown on CR. I got $18.91 CR on above purchase.

Clickfrezy code gives an additional 10% off at checkout, not cashback

Confirmed. My French champagne tracked at 16%. It was good value with the $50 off voucher. The days of sub $30 Moet I fear have now passed.

Also very tempted by this:

About $145 with a $50 off voucher.

Isn’t all Champagne French?

No, but certainly a common misconception. The French would certainly like you to think that all champagne was French. But the geographical name restriction hasn't been approved by every country and there are some historical anomalies. See for example the following US champagnes:

And there's plenty more examples across the planet.

was that the Champions pack Ralphy?

Yes. This one:

Worked out about $34 a bottle.

My stocks are low so I can live with that price.
