Hi. Not seeing any change from their past deals:

Singles only, french champagne excluded. Min. 12 bottle order.

You might be interested in $25 off min. $100 with code XMASCHEER, including packs, until midnight tonight CT.... errr, ~40 minutes away. I posted that a few days ago.

And another reason to wooohooo about, Wine direct has managed to ship me my Mostly McLaren Marvels for not Much Moolah 12 pack of reds in 5 days (ordered on the 14th arrived on the 19th) to Tasmania which is astonishing at this time of the year even more so with a weekend in between!! Itching to crack one tonight (need to audition the Chocolate Factory from Zonte's) but I've just opened a Ladbroke Grove 2004 shiraz viognier never mind - I'll have both!

Got my recent order incredibly quick too, and on a Sunday! Kudos to Winedirect and Australia Post I guess!

Glad I could help some people out with the code last night - thanks for your contributions over 2016.

Totally agree three cheers Wine Direct SA to VIC 5 days from order to delivery. However Three big cheers to Auspost. Also three cheers to Howard Park WA five days ordered and delivered via Auspost to Vic as well. Cheers

Bought 2 single malts for $160 total at First Choice to take advantage of the amex 150/30. Said to assistant, I had a $10 voucher to print online but forgot it. No problems I'll take that off. So total spend $150 and another $30 off. Yes I know this is the DM wine thread, but they also have quaffers at good price atm. eg: I think Geisen was $10 btl.

I to may have got onto some of that 2004 La Primera from the same outfit in July and had another bot in September. If you don't like this wine WandD , I am personally coming down there with santa and one of his helpers and we're gonna whip yo backside. My two botts were soup purb indeed. Give the game away if you come up with a poor critique. Up to you know boyo.

Have bought most of my wine in the last 18mo from Wine Direct and have been super impressed by Darryl. He provides a wonderful service and super fast delivery to Melbourne. Very small range by comparison to pretty much everywhere else, but I've discovered some fantastic small(er) wineries such as Massena, Purple Hands, Lino Ramble and Lost Buoy.

Picked up the following today:

2016 Vickery Eden Valley Riesling for $14
2015 Turkey Flat Rose $13.3

5 Rose for me too, one of their shiraz and a half dozen Lino Ramble Grenache. WD have some great bargains occasionally which are too good to miss.

I bought some for about $25pb from Langtons in November 2015, some sort of pre-release deal or a mistaken price, not completely sure.

I like it a lot, true-to-style Eden Valley Shiraz (more red fruits and savoury than Barossa), vastly superior to the regular Heirloom Barossa Shiraz.

This wine has arrived and it is Hobbs of Barossa ranges Gregor.

Are you talking about this one you mentioned earlier? http://www.australianfrequentflyer....s-other-wine-deals-66250-698.html#post1558406 (the JD Cellars secret wine)
If so, that's supposed to be an Eden Valley wine, not Barossa...

Getting confused with the secret wine No 85 and No 86. This is the secret wine 85 the 86 I believe is the Heirloom still to arrive.
As we wind down the working year, I'm treating you to my hidden stash of Secret Wine to tide you over the chaos of Christmas.
An ABSOLUTE STEAL (at close to a 1/3 of the RRP), you simply cannot pass up...Secret Wine # 85.

"Thick with blacked-fruited flavour. Warm with alcohol. Pulled with flavour-drenched tannin. It's a thunderstorm in a glass, rolling thunder and all. The power and length of it cannot be denied." 95 Points James Halliday

This an absolute monster (15.8% alcohol).....the full carnival attraction. It’s syrupy and lithely liqueur-like in texture, but not too fat or unctuous. If you drink it within three days of opening, treat it like vintage port, and have it with hard cheese and walnuts.
After three days, it deserves a perfectly aged steak. Or leave the cork in, and give it twenty years’ under the stairs.
Personally...I'll be leaving mine to breath for a week, letting it develop into a hedonistic full bodied Barossa Shiraz...sublime.

* 100% Barossa single vineyard Shiraz
* 2013 Vintage (3 years cellaring done for you)
* Only 600 cases produced
* 30 year old vines
* Hand picked
* Naturally fermented in open vats
* Aged in new French Oak for 24 months
* Unfiltered bottling
