Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Me too (Steady must be right about the click and collect not working for Tas residents i.e. they just don't offer it) I nabbed a 6 pack of the Filsell as I had a premonition that it was now or never! And all up it cost me $127, sorry to those who missed out...

I'm in VIC and couldnt get it to work on any of the three browswers I tried.

Don't forget you the Amex deal is in one or more transactions....I decided i was better off using the $100 off twice than having to buy a single bottle that I wasn't really interested in. Managed to get the grey label click and collect in Sydney less than 1 hour ago, no luck with GB.

Yes I know, this was an example. Veuve has gone missing at all the other sales however.

Nope. This isn't true. Veuve does not go missing 'at all the other sales'.

I've managed to pick it up in the last 3 months combining an AMEX deal + $100 cash coupon for it to be around $33 a bottle.

It is true that some items sell out quickly, but you need to be careful about the language you use, as what you have claimed simply is not correct. Anyone who uses cellarmasters regularly would know of these limitations and accept them (as frustrating as they are) as part of dealing with cellarmasters.

As have I, but it often seems to many here that after a few are purchased, it quickly becomes out of stock, only to appear soon after the deal is over. And not just for Veuve.
Anyway, not going to bother arguing with you. Many here and elsewhere have noticed it. It happens.

Well I don't get it, i'm all for the Click and Collect principal so I can 'fly under the radar' with my ever-increasing wine purchases :oops:

Maybe it depends on local stock, whereas the shipping option could come from anywhere. Wild speculation only, but why the hell not?

Persistence paid off in the end. Having tried every (25) BWS in a 25km radius I came back to the locals without success. Tried again 5 minutes ago, nothing. Then one last try locally and bingo for Filsell. Nooitgedacht, who would have thought? 30 seconds later another amex congratulatory email. It's good when a plan comes together. ;)
Discount code still working on successive attempts.

Has anyone figured out how Cashrewards pay out? I have received a CR notification indicating one of my purchases has registered but the sale amount quoted doesn't resemble either of today's purchases.

There does not appear to be a consistent pattern with this.

Sometimes the amount includes GST, sometimes it doesn't.

Sometimes the amount is before the discount, sometimes it isn't.

Sometimes the amount is before postage, sometimes after.

Sometimes the amount just seems to be made up.

But I can say that it has always been at least what I expected to receive, sometimes considerably more.

I've now received over $1000 back from cashbackrewards and can't recommend it enough.

I imagine if there was a fair bit of quid pro quo eh, Dr Ralph (why the hell else would anyone do it?)

Don't know if it's actually sold out or just an error but Langton's latest mystery wine was/is Howard Park Leston Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 for $27.50/bt in 6pks - you could always call to check and still use a Vintec voucher, but of course not Cashrewards

Also, cellardoor.co has a $360 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Icon Collection 6pk ($60/bt) comprising:

* Wynns Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
* Wynns V&A Lane Cabernet Shiraz 2013
* Wynns V&A Lane Shiraz 2013
* Wynns Childs Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
* Wynns Michael Shiraz 2012
* Wynns John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Not sure if it's good value or been available before as I don't generally buy/follow Wynns, but their sitewide sale ends 1pm AEST today.

Is that the H6B50 code on OzBargain?

Perhaps not too surprising since I posted their sister company My Wine Guy's equivalent [post=1516542]BDAY50[/post] yesterday which popped up there

Also Langton's have 2013 Lindeman's Pyrus for $33 after Cashrewards

My Wine Guy has 2015 Parish Vineyard Coal River Riesling for ~$18/bt with BDAY50 which expires tomorrow - Kim Brebach gave it 95pts

Just secured Wolf Blass Grey Label Cabernet Shiraz for $27.08 per bottle in a 6 pack - and a free bottle of Black label thrown in. Free delivery
Needless to say, I ordered 24

Nice :)

what's worth buying there with that 50per cent off?

They didn't even mention that it was a CashRewards offer. Should be good for the regular 8% off too if you click through via the CR site.
Nor has anyone mentioned the $20 cashback from Amex. ;)

Sorry, I didn't realise people needed reminding, given comments from [post=1515245]others[/post] and [post=1517056]myself[/post] in the past week or so :)

Yep, same here. Got 8% cashback through the company rewards and 5% off the voucher.....very pleased.

You didn't have AmEx or had already used the offer?

Gave up and paid postage. Piper for $28.xx is pretty good in my book.

[post=1517059]$17 is better[/post] :)
