Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I got the Meshack pack and was very pleased with the value..

2009 Grant Burge Shiraz Meshach Barossa Valley
2012 d'Arenberg The Ironstone Pressings McLaren Vale
2013 Lindemans Shiraz - Cabernet Limestone Ridge Vineyard
2014 Two Hands Shiraz Gnarly Dudes Barossa Valley
2012 Fraser Gallop Cabernet Sauvignon Margaret River
2012 Voyager Estate Cabernet Merlot Girt by Sea Margaret River
2013 Torbreck Shiraz The Sporran Barossa
just looking back a little, I wish I could buy another 6 pack from dannys. I had the 2013 Lindemans tonight and it is something special. The Voyager was alright recently but this double blend is one of the best wines I have had this year. Incredible value.

Tasted the Lindemans Coonawarra Trio at the TWE tasting earlier this year. The Limestone Ridge and Pyrus were pretty good. Standout (IMHO) at this young age was the St George. The 2012 set was better, but still great drinking. Will improve with age.

Ended up ordering the 2013 mcwilliams high paddock Shiraz for my Cracka deal. Just got an email asking if I would mind receiving the 2014 vintage instead. Yes, that should be just fine thanks! :)

Just saw this on OzBargain

International Cabernet Day apparently? I really need to suss out a calendar to keep track of all of these! Dandelion Pride for $16 a bottle is pretty good and d'Arenberg high Trellis for $12.80 a bottle is good too. Mix and match a dozen is good to get a variety. Going to stock up while I can!

Edit: Found one! http://www.vinodiversity.com/variety-days.html

95pt Mystery Barossa Valley Shiraz 2013 @ WineStar = St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz 2013 $19.66/bt using AmEx offer

93-97pt Wirra Wirra The Angelus Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 $47.95 @ myCellars (pm me for free delivery code with no minimum spend)
($54.99 @ WineStar) (without $50 AmEx offer)

Yes, real fat boys. ;)
I like the Yangarra shiraz. Very good value.

That's the one qaz and made by winemakers Peter Fraser and Charlie Seppelt just like the real label, even using grapes from the same paddocks. It is not a hidden label wine, it's provenance clearly indicated.

The United Cellars and Kemenys labels are made of declassified fruit/barrels not worthy of being the real deals :)

Anyone tried Benevelli Piero Langhe Nebbiolo 2015 ($27.99 @ WineStar, less using $50 AmEx offer) or past vintages?

The highest rated vintage so far (93+pts) by Gary Walsh and all raved by people on Winefront (seems to be the bargain nebbiolo on there, as Hoddles Creek is for pinot noir and chardonnay, which just all happen to be imported/made by Boccaccio's D'Anna family) - Gourmet Traveller Wine scored the 2011 97pts (91+pts Gary Walsh / Winefront)

2015 Benevelli Piero Langhe Nebbiolo, about $30. Lifted, fresh, complex bouquet of roses with a mineral background note. Arrives in the mouth with a plush, generously sized impact of mixed red fruits and a well-weighted, structured palate of really good length with nicely coated, firm, integrated tannins to close. Another candidate for red wine value of the year, and yet another excellent example as to why Langhe nebbiolo is possibly the most “on trend” red wine going around. Drink often.

Pretty good price...less with 5% ewish + 8% CR etc.
I paid $22.50 equivalent for only 3 in a mixed red case in the recent amex/Lngtons offer.

$5 off a wine of this pedigree to bring it down to the lowest price that it's been available anywhere counts as a good deal in my books!

A lot of wine ..and a lot of better deals in the market ..still each to their own..i understand
Thanks BF maybe i should have said not a bargain deal....lol

Winerylane.com.au have $75 off on your first order with the code welcome75. They stock current release Amelia Park, Casteli, Eden Road, Warramunda Estate, and Woods Crampton at 20% off cellar door price.

Am considering this for the new releases of the Amelia Park Shiraz and Cabernet Merlot.. brings them down to $17 per bottle. The Reserve Shiraz and Cabernet would be $34.

Just a reminder that this deal ends today - good way to buy already good-value Woods Crampton and Eden Road wines, with Woods Crampton reds and riesling $23, Eden Road chardonnays $22/$32 and pinots $27-$28

Chill man, no dramas.I am not really a big fan, but if the vintage is good, it screams at you.
