Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

As per usual with Coles, what you order & how much of that you get are totally different things. Had one order delivered this morning, not complete due to stock they no longer have since ordering. They have ZERO interest in fixing their systems. On the plus side, refunds don't trackback discounts (i.e. if the bottle was $100 before codes, you'll get $100 back, so you pocket the discount).
Coles' 'stocklotto' is annoying, but as you note, the dollar amount of the discount stays even if the item is out of stock. You can use this in your favour by comparing stock levels in Coles and the relevant LL/FC/VC store. ;)

As soon as I saw this I thought this could be gamed and bingo!

Is that for wines only? Or spirits as well?

There's no guarantee anything you order at Coles will be in stock. The saving grace is that any dollar discount continues to apply (unless the entire order is $0 or less, in which case it gets cancelled).

I see. I ve ordered via Coles liquor for spirits but never had a out of stock issue.
Was wondering if it was limited to wines

I can't remember the exact detail but I once ended up with one bottle of Keyneton Euphonium + a cake 😂 for $0 after ordering 3 of the Henschke while there was only one in stock. Including home delivery 😄

Was just deciding if i want to buy this or not, anyone had it before?
Dowie Doole white label is fantastically delicious with good oak. For context, I enjoy big reds like Filsell, Greenock Creek, Torbreck, Kaesler, WB grey label. Hence I assume Dowie Doole premium black label should taste even better than its entry level shiraz.
