Also, curious to see the current wine list. Then again, I'll be in SYD FLounge next Thurs so I could just be patient... but where's the fun in that?

It used to be on the regular menu.
Or rather, there used to be no separate F/P1/CL menu.

I wish I could tell you. I’m just noting it from a post above. I’m yet to try it.

I expect it tastes a lot like a regular steak but with a heavy dose of Qantas’ hyperbole giving it the illusions of being fancy and making the diner think it’s better than it really is.

But I’m a carnivore, so I’m just pleased there’s an actual meat option.

Agree it is overhyped and always thought it a poor choice for a special menu item - last couple of times when someone in my travelling party had it they were both disappointed. A couple next to me the other day sent theirs back. Perhaps more regular production will make it better.

Sashimi also used to be on every menu but has (largely) been limited to the special menu of late.

I like the look of the new menu - thanks to all for sharing pics too.
