Hmmm, perhaps you'll be needing to chat to NM soon about where to buy a b*s ! :)
I can provide lots of advice on many topics ;). However, there is one that Lindsay is unlikely to need and that is about "procedure 22".

I have already passed on my congratulations over the phone, but I will add it here. I know this means a great deal to you and Vicky and its been a long uphill battle. So you must both be over the moon. Congratulations from D and me. Our prayers are with all 4 Wilsons.

Congrats - good news for your whole family :)

I envy you having only just had miniLW's first paid flight having just stumped up for babygr's J seat to LHR...

Congrats to you LW and to MrsLW. :)

You already have mini-LW.

Has this one been AFF named yet?

Well, before anybody else spills the beans...it's official. Mrs LW is 18 weeks pregnant and due on 6 November 2009, so my travel will be curtailing around the end of August I'd think

On the bright side, at least I won't need to buy them a seat for 2 years after that - unlike mini-LW who just had her first paid trip to CNS.

Congratulations Lindsay on the wonderful news. I know how you feel. Not sure if I needed to start a new thread but I would like to let everyone know that mrs taswegian is pregnant and due on Dec 1st but we have been told to expect here to deliver around the beginning of October as she is carrying three little devils in her tummy. Undertsatement that the news came as a shock to us but once I recovered from the fall off the chair the news is just amazing and we are so blessed. Littel devil 1 is still taking it all in but as a 2.5 yr old we expect him to take time to understand.

I plan on completely stopping my travel around the beginnign of august btu it can stop at any time as it is considered a high risk pregnancy and mrs taswegian might need complete bed rest, even from 16 weeks, it all depends.

Shano, congrats on your new arrival, I somehow missed that news. Hope it is all going well.

Cheers,

oh and one other note I wanted to ask, if anyone has triplets out there we would love it if you were willing to share the experience with us, just PM us if you feel up to it as we would love to hear about your experiences.

Congratulations taswegian77 and best wishes to you and your family, especially your wife, who must be both excited and flustered at the prospect of not one more but three bouncing little ones!

Probably not quite appropriate, but...
The Simpsons said:
Bart: (to Homer) You're a machine, Homer!
Lisa: (to Maggie) You hear that Maggie? There's gonna be another baby in the house, soon!
Bart: Cool! We can race them!

I wonder if mini-taswegian77 is befuddled as to how Mrs taswegian77 managed to get three babies inside her tummy? :p

Thanks for the well wishes and the simpsons thing was funny. Mini-taswegian I think is in denial as every time I rub mrs taswegian's tummy and explain that there are three little devils in there he goes "no daddy, no daddy". It is fun times ahead for all. Even for our dog Bella who never really got over mini taswegian arriving and now will have to deal with three in one hit. Am I ever going to get sleep! The only good thing is that I have acrued nearly 6 months worth of leave/long service etc. so the plan is to take a lot of it once all are safe at home. Oh, and the fact we should get 3 baby bonuses I was told which on my calculation will not last long, just the cost of nappies alone boggles me.

Many thanks to all the well wishers (particularly the Moderators and admin, as well as alect's email).

Congratulations Lindsay:)....I predict no OS travel for at least 2 years;)
Actually, Mrs LW declared that for her 40th (June 2011), she wants to go back to UK. So planning for A380 in J using AA points x 3, thankfully mini2-LW will be under age 2 and I have 2 years to collect another 125K points (less the balance transfers still to be made from Amex>SPG>AA). I predict at least one flight to AKL or NAN before the birth

Yes, I don't envy you at all simongr ;) - that's why I am looking forward to blowing ALL my AA points.

I wonder how mini-LW will react to having a baby brother or sister. :)
We've been talking to her about the baby bump since we found out...she giggles and kisses Mrs LW's increasing tummy from time to time (she likes the baby books, but still not convinced she's really aware of what is about to happen

Ah yes, many people have been and are in our position with relation to the trials and tribulations in getting to a viable pregnancy. Blessed we are and love to you and D. for your prayers. IainF and Mrs IainF have been wonderful as well (but in a different context)

drron and serfty, I can't promise anything - if anything I'd expect 2-3 week earlier than due date

taswegian77, wow  I don't envy you either. We are keen to stop at 2, but might give 3 a go....I wish you and yur wife all the best, alas I have no experience with triplets. alect has twins...NM has 4 children...perhaps they can help?

Congratulations Lindsay and Vicky.

Also congratulations to taswegian77 and Mrs taswegian77 on the triplets.

I hope everything goes well for all of you....

I received this from Lindsay Wilson yesterday and he has just given me the okay to put this out to the public. There is a photo that I will attempt to attach shortly.

We are pleased to introduce you to our son Jack, born at 8.34am today. (Thursday 29th October) at North West Private Hospital. Weight was 3270 gms and he's 50 cm.
