Coles gift card offers

Looks like these mastercards are no longer sniip’able - “declined by issuer”. Keen to hear if there’s a workaround.

I encountered a similar issue when trying to add a card to Sniip (declined with 3DS authentication error). Reported to Sniip and they are investigating.
Same card was similarly rejected for council payment but was fine for local water authority payment.
Will post when i get an update from Sniip
Update:
Managed to make a Sniip payment using one of these cards by first loading into Google Wallet and then in Sniip selecting Google Pay as payment method and then selecting that prepaid card.
Card accepted and payment processed.

Can someone please remind me, when they don’t activate and they get refunded do the flybuys points also get taken away? I was in a rush so did not go and get another card, so only ended up with 4. I wasn’t sure if buying another card now will qualify me for another 2k points or if I’ve already used up my quota (on that FB account)

After you enter a bill for payment and then select the Pay option, the Google wallet will be offered as a payment option.
This works, and I can actually add the cards to my Google Wallet via a PC which is so much quicker than using a phone!

However, I have been blocked after paying with 5 cards. Need to call them now. :(

I bought some cards yesterday.

However, when I tried to the website to check balance/set PIN, it wouldn't allow me in and just stated that "A system error has occurred. Please try logging in later". I check balance on new cards to make sure that they have the full $100 balance but I can't do that now.

I tried clearing the cache and used different browser and still couldn't get in.

It has been like this for more than a week for my cards bought from last promotion.

Am I doing something wrong and any suggestion?

Thanks.

Yes, it's not working right now, seems busted again. This web site is always like this, busted for weeks in a roll. Situation normal. You can check by calling their hotline, it is working at the moment.

And since I was on the phone with them, I have told them that the web site is not working, hope they know how to escalate.

Thanks for confirming that it's not my PC's problem.

The problem with ringing them to check balance is they put me on hold for at least 30 minutes and then once through they may probably not be happy to check the balance of all the 20 cards(over 4 FB accounts) I bought yesterday plus the few cards left from the last promotion😞.

It's actually an automated system for checking balance

check the balance of all the 20 cards(over 4 FB accounts)

I haven't tested this for like 4 or 5 or maybe 6 months, but 6 months ago:
- The line would not connect if your caller ID was hidden
- If you call too many times, the line would block your caller ID
Hence I could not check, say, 20 cards in one go, back at the beginning of this year (Feb? Or something)

I just tried calling today, with my caller ID hidden, and I could get connected, so they seem to have removed that restriction. However, I don't know if their system would block you if you call too many times (like how it was set up 6 months ago)

Honestly, like today, I simply put a few cards thru Sniip, $250 approved, I just put those cards aside (until the payments are settled), I don't even check balance anymore. If I have a gift card which is half used, I always use that up first before starting a new card, so I don't have a deck of cards and each with $8 left.

I wouldn't even bother with checking the 20 cards you bought yesterday. Their automated phone system for checking balance will drive you nuts. Try for yourself with just one card and you will know what I mean.

Ages ago before giving up on them, I had that problem too

I did find if you change your wifi to mob data or use a different pc it would work intermittently

Yes, and occasionally changing browser, starting browser in private mode; but it's just generally their fault. I did it for a while last year where I would just call them tell them that it was busted, then they would fix it like a week later, then it would die again, call them, then they would fix it again. 😂
