The problem with ringing them to check balance is they put me on hold for at least 30 minutes
It's actually an automated system for checking balance
check the balance of all the 20 cards(over 4 FB accounts)
I haven't tested this for like 4 or 5 or maybe 6 months, but 6 months ago:
- The line would not connect if your caller ID was hidden
- If you call too many times, the line would block your caller ID
Hence I could not check, say, 20 cards in one go, back at the beginning of this year (Feb? Or something)
I just tried calling today, with my caller ID hidden, and I could get connected, so they seem to have removed that restriction. However, I don't know if their system would block you if you call too many times (like how it was set up 6 months ago)
Honestly, like today, I simply put a few cards thru Sniip, $250 approved, I just put those cards aside (until the payments are settled), I don't even check balance anymore. If I have a gift card which is half used, I always use that up first before starting a new card, so I don't have a deck of cards and each with $8 left.
I wouldn't even bother with checking the 20 cards you bought yesterday. Their automated phone system for checking balance will drive you nuts. Try for yourself with just one card and you will know what I mean.
