Fair enough, will do. That is just lame though!

I agree that it is unacceptable for Jetstar to fail to meet their self imposed deadline (given how they treat customers that fail on the other side). However, by the time you got any regulatory bodies wheels in motion, you'll likely have got the voucher.

Please report back if you get anywhere. I'm at day 22 with no voucher. The call centre said they'll investigate and will contact me in one week. I've set my expectations very low.

Interestingly they're advertising this in NZ with a NZ$29 joining fee which comes with a $50 voucher.

In addition, the voucher can't be used until July 1:
"$30 flight voucher when you join before 30 June 2013, redeemable for booking and travel from 1 July 2013"

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

All, it is 30 Jun, and I just used the voucher. However, I had to book through the call centre as the website is not doing plus bundles with the Qantas FF (there is a bug on the website). Because of this, they waived the call centre fee.

I'm trying to use my voucher to book a 3K flight. When I try booking ex-SIN I get done for the SGD16 credit card fee (no other payment options to top up the balance) and when I book ex-KUL I get done for the slightly more reasonable RM15 credit card fee, and there is supposedly a POLi option which goes nowhere and is clearly a bug.

To me this looks like misrepresentation. My AUD30 voucher is worth nowhere near AUD30 and I feel like a mug for allowing myself to get duped. I was silly enough to mistake the joining fee for the waived annual fee (I'll wear that one) but should I allow myself to get duped again by this CC fee thing?

Anyone else feel a bit aggrieved by similar circumstances?

I got the voucher within a week of signing up. I tried using it but had big difficulties with the website. I could not get past the seat selection page and then it timed out when I had already entered the voucher number. I tried a new booking and it said the voucher was already used. I rang the call centre and they wanted to charge me more than what the booking would cost online even with a $50 credit for the time I had wasted online.

I ended up doing the booking online and skipped seat selection. It would not take my FF number so that is something else to do. I made an online submission to the Service Centre. They phoned me about a week later stating that I had already used the voucher. I told them that is not good enough and it was not my fault that their booking site would not work. They then said that they would issue me a new voucher within 48 hours. The next day it came by email.

When I called them I explained the difficulties I was having with their website using a Mac laptop. They said that Google Chrome works best with their website. I tried downloading it to my laptop but it said it was not compatible. I then remembered I had Chrome on my Samsung phone and was able to do what had been a difficult booking in a matter of a few minutes.

I think when the $1 sales are on one will be able to the booking on Chrome quickly.

The FF issue on the 30th would not let me go past the details page for the travellers. Were you still having this issue? This is grounds for contacting the call centre and demanding a waiver to the fee - they did it for me.

I got past the details page not being able to enter my FF number. The seat selection page before entering credit card details was the problem for me. When I called they offered me $50 credit but could not or would not give me the same internet sale price for the fare. The $50 credit would be for a future booking not the one at hand. That is when I tried Chrome.

Not much good for me either. Limited dates. Some with travel mid-week only. There are Saturday night flights to OOL too from Sydney I think it was.

The international flight prices are nothing special, that's for sure.

Agree. A lot of hype about the $1 sale but they had better sales on a few weeks back. More options and time periods. Have seen the HNL special at a similar price before in the last few months. J* also tend to do a Friday Frenzy sale between 4pm and 8pm Friday each week. Often gives more options.

Yes got on the site just before 10am logged into Club Jetstar using Google Chrome thinking that would be fastest and easiest. Could not see any $1 fares after trying several routes and dates.

Then clicked on link on email. But could not select dates using Samsung Phone. Went back to work computer and tried. Link from email to sale page. Then link from sale page to page to see if routes and dates are available.

Got a Cairns to Darwin $1 fare in March next year which ties in with a few other bookings I have made. There were other fares on sale over and above the email that was sent out yesterday. I got a $99 Darwin to Brisbane in March next year as well. Used the $30 Club Jetstar voucher to reduce that.

Was ok once worked out the links to get the fares and the website did not crash on me Tried for SYD to OOL and MEL to HBA too but could only see a couple of $1 fares offered during the week. Nothing left in the relevant periods on the Saturday or Saturday night.

Did my searching and two bookings in the first hour of the sale before 11am today. I doubt there is much left now.

Hi,

Does anyone know when the next sale is planned for?
i.e. typical months in the year?

Hoping for some cheap PER-BME and PER-MEL flights.

Thanks.

I have seen something about the next sale being offered in December.
