Having lurked for a while and posted the odd thread I often get confused with which Discussion Board to use to post a new thread. For eg. I know if my question or discussion point has anything to do with Virgin Velocity, Status or points or Velocity call centre issues then they should be post on the Virgin Australia Velocity Discussion Board. However if my question was about VA and an issue that had no relevance to Velocity then I am assuming it should either go in Discussion or Question Board. (or one of the many other specific titles)

This is where I am a little confused. I have seen Moderators move non Velocity topics from either the Discussion or Question Board to Velocity. I am sorry I don't have examples. It doesn't happen all that often. I have also seen non Velocity Threads posted in Velocity that I think would be better in another Discussion Board.

This is not a gripe. I just need clarification so I post correctly. Thanks for your help.:)

I think its fair to say that Qantas FF is used for pretty much all things Qantas, and Virgin Velocity similarly for all things Virgin,
unless of course things fit into better topics (eg. Cheap Fares)

Cheers, but I can find nothing to indicate that thread was moved from anywhere else.

(All such move have are logged with information on who did what change and when. This is easily accessible to moderators - that thread appears to be where it began.)

This one was not moved, I just thought it does not belong in a Velocity post.:) I can't find any that been moved... so we will let that one go:):p

.... I have also seen non Velocity Threads posted in Velocity that I think would be better in another Discussion Board.....

Sometimes it is hard to work where a thread should really be but in this case that thread it is already in the most pertinent forum on this site for it.

We moderators don't normally discuss where a thread should be, if one of is decides a thread should be relocated they will do so.

OK Thanks:) I will use my best discretion.
