Hahahaha.Just by the bye, how stupid do you have to be to contact a company and check that a loophole you plan to exploit is legit?
This might be apt for our little community.....

It's listed under dot points #2 for Balance Transfers: on the application page Credit cards | Rewards, low rate or no annual fee options - MyCardHow did you come to that conclusion?![]()
Oh I see, I was referring to the dot point #14. It looks like all the bonus points have the same T&C with that same line. I'm late in responding but it was in response to your quote "This offer is not available when closing or transferring from another MyCard branded credit card account or in conjunction with any other MyCard branded credit card offer." Which you sent on the 31/12/25. That blurb was under the BT banner.Oh I see, I was referring to the dot point #14. It looks like all the bonus points have the same T&C with that same line. Under the old regime there was no lockout period but if you tried to reopen a card within a few months of closing the one you’d get an automatic rejection.

This was my experience with Citi and I suspect it would be the same here. You’re eligible if you apply again within a few months but you’ll probably be rejected.
I closed the Citi Premier in December 2024 and applied for the Citi Prestige just 13 days later and got approved and received the bonus points.the myCard wording reads more like they discourage it when jumping between products ie close premier -> open prestige

Not that I think of, since you haven’t had any Citi/myCard cards before, you should be fineis there anything that I should be aware of that could exclude me from collecting the bonus points?
I haven’t used it for a while, but when I did, it contributed towards the spending requirementDoes Sniip contribute towards the required spend?
NoIf you've held any other cards, such as NAB, would that exclude you?
Pretty bad. I think with the change to myCard the app and website are better, but still nothing like others such as the big four banks. Customer service I found it to be hit and miss… I guess it depends who you get on the other side of the line. How about customer service and reliability?
even gives you double points!Does Sniip contribute towards the required spend?
I don’t think you’ll have issues during the application process, however I doubt the card will arrive on time before you go next week. For reference, when I applied for the Premier, it took about 4-5 working days to arrive, but when I applied for the Prestige it took 10 working days. No digital card straight away like with CBA, Westpac or others…If I apply, I now need to determine whether to do so immediately and hope to have it approved before I go away next week (out of the country for >2 weeks) as I'll likely have a decent bill at home, that I'll need to pay remotely, occur while I'm away, which would cover ~2/3 of the required spend, or wait until I return in case I run into difficulties during the application process.
This is incorrect, you can login to the MyCard app as soon as you have been accepted and add the card to your digital wallet straight away, Was using mine within 3 minutes of acceptance.I don’t think you’ll have issues during the application process, however I doubt the card will arrive on time before you go next week. Thanks for clarifying that, my experience was based on Citi. That’s great to hear! This is incorrect, you can login to the MyCard app as soon as you have been accepted and add the card to your digital wallet straight away, Was using mine within 3 minutes of acceptance.
