Citi cards become myCard - no more CX, KF, EY, QR from 16/11/25

Sounds like those airlines aren’t seeing enough business funneled through Citibank to think it’s worth paying the kick-backs for a points-transfer agreement?
My assumption has been that this rush to either jettison (Citibank, CommBank) or increase the price of (AmEx) transfers to overseas FF programmes has been partly due to the flagged lowering or abolition of surcharges, but mostly due to the long-term exchange rate deterioration between the AUD and USD.

In other words, I've assumed that overseas FF programmes charge Australian credit card providers a fee in USD for their points, and those fees are now just too high.

Maybe I'm totally on the wrong track, though?

Was it stated if KF redemption rates remain the same? And doesn’t Prestige also have Avios option? New list of Prestige transfer partners would be same as current Premier listhe
He says updates will be announced soon , as information has been inconsistent across the various forums and threads, guess we’ll find out soon

But there will be no Citi transfers for anything, because Citi CC will no longer exist. Doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be for new MyCard. CC. But they should really just tell us now, they must know.

Exactly right . Why are we not told NOW about MyCard transfers ?

Im guessing if it was good news they would be out socialising that with their customers.... you only keep quiet if its not good news imho.

I have 2.5 million points in Citi rewards from my Prestige card. Usually I transfer them all to KrisFlyer, but not sure I will use them within 3 years given I have 2 bookings to Europe next year already.
I don't think I can transfer to QFF now that I already have the points warehoused and I'm pretty sure Avios also have a 3 yr expiry.
What would you do?

I believe Avios in BA or Qatar accounts don’t expire as long as you have any activity within 36months. Should be easy enough?

Firstly wow!!

Secondly I would transfer the minimum for a return in F/J to Europe to kff with the remainder to VFF.

What routes do you most commonly redeem J/F awards on?
Europe (mostly Paris, London, Rome, Zurich) and occasionally Thailand via SG.
I am thinking of adding AbuDhabi late 2026 and also need to plan Africa in the next 3 yrs (never been there..)

I do have some QFF points but no longer have status since retiring from corporate life so I’m worried that I’d never get availability
