Well since I am now suffering the effects of jat lag hopefully I will be excused my spelling and mistaken identity errors.
QF was great, with helpful, courteous and interested cabin crew (as least they gave that appearance which is all that matters). I now have a pair of black pyjamas with a Qantas logo and an Oroton toiletry bag from the F trip. First ever flat bed to sleep on in flight. Speaking of first times...the first time I flew with Qantas from Aust to USA they gave me a certificate signed by King Neptune when we crossed the equator, and the Captain signed my Qantas junior flyers logbook. I must take it with me on my next flight and see how I go.
For once, LAX immigration was speedy, but they made up for it with a 1 hour queue to get through security to depart on AA to YYZ. YYZ T3 baggage handlers were up to their usual standard, with a long delay, followed by the bags being sent out on the wrong carousel. Having learned through multiple experiences at YYZ (i.e. 4 plus hours to transfer baggage between terminals), I carried my luggage with me on the shuttle to T1 and rechecked it there. QF should take a leaf out of the book of AC's Maple Leaf lounges (sorry, couldn't help it) and provide free broadband access.
Made it to my final destination about midnight for a 5 AM start, so am now sitting here wondering what the hell I am doing on the web when I should be in bed...
By the way, I changed my DCIR22 to a DCIR26 at the last minute, as I will be stopping in BKK for a few days on the way home.
