Christmas Food on QF Lounges and Flights

This year I flew SYD BNE on Christmas Day.
the QP in SYD had everything you could want for. Great fresh & hot food selections in keeping with the new Accor range plus Neal Perry menus. Staff were great & seemed happy to be on task that day.

Flight to BNE was just great. I was in J ( :) ), & enjoyed the poached chicken main. dessert was a mince tart with a a star pastry crust. Not too fruity. Milder than some mince tarts. Just right for my tast buds.

Also, we were given a box of truffles. A fancy box... It looked great, was cute to carry, & the truffles were delicious :D

The on board staff were everything I would want. Thank you.

BA were serving Venison in their T5 First lounge on Christmas day...
In J (Long haul), there was turkey as one of the dishes, and dessert had a chocolate with icing and Christmas leaves on it.

Nice to hear stories of some special meals for Christmas here. I was flying one Christmas Eve/Day and don't remember anything special apart from I think a Santa-themed chocolate in a tray meal. I suspected it would be a big deal to put on a different dish inflight, with catering having to construct, test and have pass through whatever processes they have, and they mightn't have bothered for just one or two days.

Flew LHR-DXB on QF in F departing Christmas Day. Received a small box of chocolates with a Christmas design on the box.
