Hello.

I made the mistake of signing up for, and allocating points, for China Eastern's Frequent Flyer programme, when I flew from Sydney to New York via Shanghai.

I didn't realize I could allocate points to my QFF instead.

I flew on September 6th.

Has anyone has luck with China Eastern removing points from their programme & allocating it to QFF instead???

When I email them in English, all I get are replies in Mandarin!

When I logged it via the Qantas website, a day later it said "Unsuccessful claim".

Is there an email address I can use for both/either of the parties that will understand & action: "Please remove my points from China Eastern Miles programme; and now allocate it to QFF#: xx_xx_x."?

Anyone have any success?

Alex

I don't like your chances. Once the flights have been credited to a FF program, that's usually the end of it.

Any chance you have a review of the flights? I can't seem to find anything recent for China eastern.

Very difficult to get any airline to reverse flights accrued to a FF program.

Highly unlikely at the best of times; basically guaranteed you won't do it given that you are dealing with MU, where the relevant department probably cannot or will not communicate with you in English and, even if they did, would refuse to co-operate in the absence of a clear procedure.
