Changi Matters

As in are you referring to the Pommery? All passed on at face value to family and friends - gifts are like for free - and nope - somehow I seem to keep giving til the cows come home

Anyways how does this warrant questioning?

Jeez I am dumb - arr on Nov 6 and proceeded to use e- channel - PP in - thumb on - no go - repeat abou 6 times no go - go full in card to entet
Returning yesterday I visited eISCS office to check status - um Mr Elite - if you get a new PP you need to update your details!!! .........D’Oh
[SNIP]

I think I might have to go through a similar process next year since my passport (with eIACS) will expire in October. Planning to get passport renewed in first half of 2020 and then maybe pass through SIN in August.

Just curious if they needed some proof linking the two passports (old and new) to you? Also if you needed to have the three entries in x months (12 or 18??) fulfilled?

I posted pics in the A on C thread of this Veuve product which is currently on offer in DF in SIN:

See the 2 botts side by side? One on right is from my cellar - leftie is what is in these boxes.

This is allegedly packed exclusively for SIN DF but I doubt that - either way the Ette says it is best gift packaging she has seen - they are $70ea so if you are transiting do yourself a favour and don’t miss them.

Drat! Last week’s flight was via HKG and next week’s is DXB.
Perhaps they will still be around late December. :)

I’ve read about the Cuvée St Petersbourg but have not yet sampled it.
Having said that, there are a few boxed items hanging about, so I should investigate the contents more closely.
The Cuvée did come in the stubby pencil packaging, at one stage, I think.

Changi $s are back

I have been o/s for a week or so and this may have been posted b4 - if so Mods please feel free to delete - and if not Mods can you please re-open Changi Matters thread and move this post to there?

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Just noticed some airlines are relocating from T1/T3 now that T2 has reopened:
Just so long as SQ does not re-open the old T2 KFG lounge and force us whY pax there instead of the decent T2 SK lounge. In that case, will have to trek over to T3 again.

Was just knocking back a couple of coldies with an old SQ cobber - we were reminiscing about old times - who here remembers the glass walled smoking permitted ‘Harrys Bar’ in T2?

When you opened one of the doors to enter the rush of the smoke filled air outwards would almost knock you off your feet!

Was under construction when I last there in Sept. Will check it out during Easter

My wife misses the Zara

Looking for some advice from the learned.
Mrs UXB is on her way to SIN in April landing at 0015. Next day taking the ferry to Bintan so she needs a bed for the night.
She would prefer to book a Transit hotel room airside but what happens to her luggage?? Can you pick it up the next day when you go thru passport control??
Alternatively any suggestions for a room landside without having to pay the $$$ at the Crowne Plaza, thats still relatively close to Changi??
Cheers in advance
