Hi,

Im flying from Dublin to Sydney in September and was wondering whether there are any lounges I can use in the airport? Im flying a EK Qantas Share flight and have Qantas Gold status.

Thanks

What is the code on your flight number ex DUB? Is it EK or QF? What class are you travelling?

Have you checked what airlines even have lounges at DUB and whether the lounges will be open at the time you are travelling? Most airports have websites that will tell you that info.

EK have a partner lounge at DUB, I don't know if SG get access to partner lounges though (if it was EK-operated would be no problem).

If your oneworld® frequent flyer tier status is Emerald or Sapphire, or you are traveling in a First or Business Class cabin on any oneworld member airline, you can access some 650 airport lounges throughout the world.

Dublin Airport Executive Lounge

Location details: Departure area, after security control
Opening hours: Daily: 05:30-21:00
Operated by a third party.

Not sure if a QF code-share on EK metal would count.

Contract/Third Party Lounges are a nightmare.

Its a QF flight number. So does that mean I can use the Lounge? It doesn't sound like much but its better than nothing.

Not according to the OW site. You would need to be flying AA, BA, IB, S7 or AY (see my post above)...........that said I believe you should have access by virtue of flying EK...but quite frankly I have no idea how that fits with contract lounges. (EK uses the same lounge at DUB, which isn't great but is better than the alternative.)

Wonder how many S7 flights there are to DUB lol.

I'd say you're going to slip through the cracks and miss out.
Maybe ask the check in staff for a lounge invite?
Nothing to lose and you've got more chance that EK staff will oblige you than staff at a 3rd party lounge!
