Aeroplan 50K Lounge access

I've booked an economy reward redemption later this month for PER-MEL. I'm hoping to use my Aeroplan 50K status (thanks to my HSBC card) to access the lounge, however Aeroplan haven't sent out a renewed phyical card. Has anyone had any issues accessing the Virgin Australia lounge using their digital Aeroplan membership card?

That's not correct...showing your digital Aeroplan card with *A Gold status along with your Va BP (doesn't matter how it is booked) is all you need...you will have to go to the desk...they will scan your Va BP and then manually enter your Aeroplan number to bill Aeroplan / Air Canada.

I would have thought that for reward tickets, the FF no of the reward program it was booked through would be stick to the booking. Cash bookings are entirely different and they would be ok.

It does not matter. I have entered the Va lounge with the Va FF no. on my BP by showing my KrisFlyer Gold digital card....they just have to manually enter your KF no. so they can bill the appropriate airline, Singapore in ths example.

I had a flight today and I asked the question: with both SQ Gold or Aeroplan Gold, you get all the usual VA Gold with two major exceptions: a) if you want to guest someone, they have to be on the same flight, and b) you do not get lounge on arrival. The lounge angle later added she wasn't sure about priority boarding, but you definitely get lounge access with either of SQ gold or Aeroplan gold.

I just line up at the Priority Line...no one has ever asked to see my digital card showing KF Gold! My BP has my Va number with no status!

I had multiple basic economy flights within North America and all my tickets listed with Premier Access when I booked my tickets and enter my Aeroplan Gold FF.
