I phoned Customer Service. As I was in the 3rd week of February for card activation, they said that it will start in March. Give them a call. The phone number is up-thread somewhere.

Me too, although I was slightly concerned when I saw the description (StarCard Sign-up Bonus Points), was wondering if I had been somehow confused with the earlier 10K promo. Anyway, I am confident I will get my points, it is just the inconsistencies (getting QBR linked confirmation a month after I did it, not getting any QBR points for fuel or purchases, frankly did not expect the 10K to come thru this month and now it has) that have left me wondering.

Approved middle of this month and have linked - $150 spend will be easy enough.

Qantas has continued the promo with a revised end date 31/3.

You would suspect that the promo should be applicable, but time will tell!

Yes, the new promo is 5k p/m over a year for a total of 60k points after 12 months of consecutive >$150 spend

New star card arrived today. Nice quick process so far with this one. Here’s hoping that extends to the awarding of bonus points!

The fifth and final lot of 10k pts hit my business rewards account this morning. Rang up this afternoon and cancelled the card.

Very easy process. Straight on to someone in the call centre, told him I wanted to cancel. Asked why and just said I didn’t need it any more as business activity had changed. He pressed a few buttons and then all done. All up would have been on the phone for 3 minutes.

Looking forward to taking out another StarCard the next time they run a decent promo.

The application does allow for this to be a sole trader as longs as you have an ABN, lucky old me I do have one of those. In fact one as a sole trader and one for a company.

How many ABNs can one have? 1 as a sole trader, 1 for a company, 1 for any trusts you might have... =P
