Business Class Slop

I'm not saying VA is better lounge food. I'm saying that VA is $1,000 cheaper for the same route, and frankly (pun intended) I would be happy to eat a few hotdogs to save $1,000. The only reason I was flying QF was that the VA timetable didn't suit me.

Best you stick to VA then

Tonight is business class slop night again!

The delicious aroma of Leggos tomato paste coupled with the consistency of vomit.

I can see some carrot floating around in there!

Sometimes the VA hot dogs are much better than the slop in the Qantas lounges.

Actually I have been calling it slop for a while but some people confuse it as gourmet.

Sorry last time I was there the reconstituted eggs were awful but everyone has different tastes.

Green thai chicken curry again tonight in SYD business lounge. Looks awful and on par with the stir fry chicken slop.

On the other hand chicken parmigiana in the BNE business lounge. Lost count how many I have had.

The "dish of the day" in the BNE J lounge last night was nice - tomato and feta tart. Definitely not slop. I particularly appreciated the table service too.

Hot dogs not on menu today in BNE business lounge.

They do have Italian chicken and rice in a creamy sauce.

And something labelled as Hero salad but is Nicoise salad with tuna, boiled egg, boiled potato, tomatoes, Green beans and green leaves.

Tried both and had a few extra servings of Italian chicken.

Hi all,

My wife and I will be in the J lounge at CBR tomorrow night (17:30 or so). She's never been to J, and I've never been except for in the morning. What sort of food should we expect to see? Is it just cold meats and cheese or something fancier?
