I showed up to BDL once at T-33 when I walked in the terminal door. Made my flight with time to spare. I rarely get to the airport more then 45 minutes in advance in the USA anymore with [-]LOTFAP Fast Pass[/-] Precheck :D.

I like the good old days where you could check in with the skycap at T-15 and you and your bags made the flight.

Personally my best effort is T-6 at NPE

I don't think you've seen an AFFer cut it fine until that time I walked into the terminal after final call coming from a Buzz tour. But rest assured, I was being paged as I struggled through a security queue, and still made it to my flight (just).

Thankfully I have a bit more leeway this time.

What made that effort even more impressive was the ~6 bottles of wine you were taking as carry-on, in addition to the stuff you arrived with :p

Confirmation of my attendance:

Arr: QF685 @ 1445 2 Apr
Dep: QF686 @ 1335 4 Apr

Staying at Hilton.

Accommodation is now booked for Sat night, we're checking out the Mayfair.

For the record we're still staying at the Hilton ;)

I will also stay at the Hilton, but it is a good rate (especially for those without Hilton status, and all that comes with that).

Hi I have now confirmed flights and accommodation.

Virgin to Adelaide on the 2nd and return 6;30pm on the 3rd April also on Virgin, thanks American Express.
One night Hilton. $154 was too good to pass up.

If anyone is in Adelaide early and looking for something to do, there are a few walking tours in the CBD revolving around food & drinks on this website Foodi - Adelaide that could be worth a look! I haven't done any of them, so can't vouch for them, but they look good on paper. Some of the themes are chocolate, craft beer, secret foods, wine bars etc

A place has become available on the tour.
As per the waiting list, a PM was sent to rabau on 19th February and another PM sent moments ago offering the spot.

I think in fairness, if I have not received a reply within the next couple of days the next person on the list will be contacted. Stay tuned.

Sorry Buzz, missed the previous PM, moving house does that, I better look at flights.

Tickets for the event are now available for purchase via trybooking using this link http://www.trybooking.com/186432
As per the first post, the cost is $105.00 and it is my understanding that trybooking charge a credit card fee.

Please keep an eye on the thread as I shall shortly post a breakfast menu.
You will be asked to make your selection and let me know at least a week prior to the event so that your breakfast will be ready for you on arrival.
It is a difficult task for the staff to have all our meals ready at the same time.

Edit:
There is an issue with the listing resulting in TomVexille purchasing all 23 tickets!! Talk about hungry for CC Points.
A support request has been lodged with trybooking.
