My flights are booked, (I fly into ADL on the Wednesday for business) I'm departing 19:55 to MEL on QF696 - upgrade confirmed.

I think I will be at the Crowne Plaza Wednesday through to Saturday am - Buzz not knowing Adelaide or the route you have in the OP, is the CP on or near the pickup route? It would be easier to just stay in the same place Saturday night.

The QF booking page tells me there are 74 days to go.....

The CP is 1.2Km from the pick up point. Other hotels are closer, but 1.2Km isn't too bad.
