Mal, I would be interested in how one can book the above. Would it be possible for WT+ as well? The BA SYD-SIN flight does not make the AY SIN-BKK connection which means an overnighter in SIN and a non OneWorld flight the next morning to BKK. It would be worth the A$50-100 extra to be able to go SYD-BKK//SIN-SYD.
Easiest way is as follows.
* Make sure there is availability on the flights you want. You may need to do some test "return" flight enquiries to ensure the 2 flights you want have the availability.
* Go through the normal booking process by clicking on the "BUY" button for the outbound fare you are after, then click on the button for "If you are travelling one-way, want to make a stopover in either direction or wish to return to another airport, then please click here."
* Enter in the dates you want SYD-SIN//BKK-SYD (or vice versa).
* Select the flights for BA9/10/15/16.
Should price out half way between the SYD-BKK price and the SYD-SIN prices. If it doesn't there probably isn't availability on the days you are after, or you missed one of the steps above. I just tried it for WT+ and it works absolutely fine with a quote of around $1250 for mid May.
I'm not sure if this is technically allowed under the promotion, however it does price out properly. I tried to track down the fare rules for the WFF Fare Basis to see if it was allowed, but couldn't find it.
I found this while trying to search for a way to add my home airport onto the beginning/end of a trip - not possible unfortunately, so had to book a seperate tix for that

Surely if a final cost is displayed on the screen and you are then allowed to choose from a list of credit cards then the final price stands.
I strongly recommend against doing this. If BA wanted to get nasty (if they found out ... not a clue if they would or care) they are able to deny you boarding unless you pay the full fare ex discount. Could be a costly exercise - but hey, if you want to take the risk...
