Changi Airport website still shows BA16 as retimed with a delayed arrival time:
Arrival Flight Status

The arriving aircraft this morning (2 December 2018) in SYD was B773ER G-STBH. Google Flights and FR24 suggest it was cancelled, so this may be a case of the Changi Airport software not 'knowing' to update it. On balance, I love to travel is correct.

Yes I see... BA has rescheduled the flight to tomorrow:

Very, very unusual. BA15/BA16 are two of the most reliable international flights into or out of Oz. Exceptional punctuality, and rarely cancelled. I will have missed some 'events' but the paucity of delays and cancellations shown here still reflects the experience with this airline, alone among European (not for much longer!) in persisting with flying to and from Australia.

BA15 SIN-SYD 20 05 service did not take off until 21 34. Arrival is suggested at 7 55, 65 behind schedule (G-STBF).

It is unusual for BA15 to run late let alone feature twice in a week in AFF. On Friday 7 December 2018, B773ER G-STBH should arrive SYD at 0752 hours, 62 late. IT had not taken off from LHR on Wednesday night until 2325 despite a timetabled ex gate departure of 2145 hours, and did not regain much time at the SIN stop.

UPDATE:Estimated SYD arrival has become 0818, 88 late.

On Wednesday 12 December 2018, BA15, the Tuesday night 2005 hours SIN down to SYD that took off at 2342 is arriving at about 1000, 190 late. Aircraft is B773ER G-STBC. The aircraft had been on BA16 from SYD to SIN yesterday afternoon and was five minutes early arriving in SIN at 2125 hours.

While I haven't checked back, normally the BA aircraft flies LHR - SIN - SYD, so there may have been a problem with the aircraft that had arrived from London.

It remains unusual for BA15 to be late but the Thursday 24 January 2019 arrival in SYD (ex SIN) should be at its gate at 0759, 69 late. Aircraft is B773ER G-STBJ.

The closure of Pakistani commercial airspace is having some significant effect.

BA12 on 27Feb SIN-LHR flew via Saudi airspace and added about 45min to the journey. This put the flight into something between QF12 and QF94 in terms of duration but BA has the same Trent900 as SQ so probably unable to carry as much as the QF version.

On the same day BA10 BLK-LHR (B777) has an intermediate stop in OTP (Bucharest) before completing its journey some 3 hrs late

Some are reporting/suggesting limited cargo uplift

27 Feb was the day Pakistan closed its airspace

The knock on effect was that Kabul FIR also closed transit to flights which usually transited Pakistan:

BA15/BA16 continue to be mostly punctual but Wednesday 6 March 2019 has B773ER G-STBH on BA15 arriving in SYD (ex SIN) at 0728 hours, 38 minutes late.

I don't usually post delays/cancellations unless it's for an Australian domestic flight or one operating internationally to or from Oz, but tomcut_2000 kindly drew AFFer's attention how tonight from 1800 hours local time in HKG, that major airport is closed to outgoing flights due to protesters' understandable outrage re how a girl was shot by HK police with a bean bag rifle and as a result may lose one eye.

There is a most informative photo on the 'South China Morning Post' website.

As BA is a major operator and some AFFers use it between HKG and LHR, it is appropriate to make a note here.

docjames further reports that any flights that were still being checked in earlier were cancelled once the demonstrators massed in both the arrivals and departures halls.

BA33 (G-ZBKE) a 787-900 LHR-KUL 2120-1650 service performed an approach, a go around, then due to predicted low arrival fuel, diverted to SIN at 1820 (adding about 1.5 hrs to usual flight time) on 15 August.

Likely they had arrival fuel to SIN but that necessitated them going there when they had the fuel rather than doggedly waiting over KUL until they had no fuel to go anywhere else.

Splash and dash in SIN with a ground time there of 2:10 then arrived in KUL at 21:15

Since departed on time for LHR.

Late afternoon thunderstorms causing significant delays around KLIA airport.

With the BA pilots' strike - two days - BA15 from LHR to SIN and on to SYD is cancelled, with the SIN - SYD leg not running this morning (Tuesday 10 September) or Wednesday (11.)

BA16 from SYD to SIN (and on to LHR) was cancelled today (Tuesday 10) and tomorrow (11.)

This information will not give savvy AFFers much new information - much is self evident - but it mentions another strike day of 27 September (that if it proceeds presumably means BA16 from SYD may be cancelled on either 27 or 29 September):

The usually punctual BA16 SYD-SIN (B777 G-STBL) was airborne at 18 30, so arrival is now revised to 23 15, 105 tardy.

BA16, presently before the change to 'normal time' on east coast Oz which is a 1550 hours SYD - SIN - LHR seems to run to time on this initial leg but the second sector on its last three completed trips has been between 71 and 131 minutes late arriving at LHR. It has difficulty taking off at anything close to time in SIN, so perhaps slow checking in is occurring, though PM Boris Johnston has been active in removing 'COVID-19 paperwork' requirements.

Tuesday 13 December 2022 sees BA15, the redeye from SIN down to SYD (B773ER G-STBM) arriving at an expected 0807 hours, 72 minutes late.

It doesn't often become unpunctual.
