Just arrived at the airport now. Less than 5mins away. Black jacket, laptop bag and dark jeans.

I'll look for everybody in the quiet area.
 
I mentioned at the lounge opening that bottled lemon lime and bitters sucks. Today I was handed a real lemon lime and bitters :). Good job Virgin

Looks incredible!

I briefly came on FaceTime to say hi, but there was no audio coming from your end, and I wondered what people were saying about me :p

It's a nice 10° here now, though probably not good for the snow. Too warm.



 
Well I was very impressed with The Lounge Manager Annette Viljoen who personally looked after us and was very attentive. She may get me across to DJ yet - she was very persistent.

Some in our group thought the white palette was a bit too much - sterile even - very different to the QP. Also the long drapes made me think I was in heaven. The chairs are very funky and the bar area much larger than the QF version.

Great to meet old and new AFF friends.
 
Thanks for a great night everyone, was great to meet some of the regulars and put faces to the handle's.

Look forward to crossing paths again soon.

Great night and a pleasure to meet both new and old faces, thanks to DJ for the hospitality. It felt weird coming home with no boarding pass :)

Thanks for organising the event awilcockson, and thanks to the DJ lounge crew for being such good hosts.

Very good night; was really nice to talk to Annette and tell them what we really thought of the DJ lounge, overall I am impressed with the lounge.

I think they turned off the toaster just a bit to early for my liking.

Great to meet friends old and new.

Was great catching up with everybody again! As well as meeting some new faces.

I couldn't agree more with everybody that the lounge manager, was fantastic. Taking the time to talk with us, taking photos of us with 50 different cameras, and listening to all my suggestions (Like me suggesting a place for the bathroom signs so I don't get lost)..

Most important of all, bringing me that large bowl of chips!

Agree ...

There was an era ... which ended quite recently .. where I could arrange for strategically located work effort to afterwards enable my ready attendance at such functions; especially with some months notice as this had. Not so these days.:-|

Would have enjoyed being there!:D

Great night, nice to meet you all (did I meet you all?), fab food and drinks, good tips and ideas (my wife is already planning her SC runs :shock:) but best of all, thanks to Bundy Bear for letting me in on the "secret" of the WP :D...............

Add my thanks to AFF organisers, & Annette at the lounge who made us feel so welcome. Nice to catch up with everyone again.

I wonder how often we would be welcomed into the lounge for a get together? Each 3 months? Each 6 months?? Maybe they will be able to let us know?

The food was delicious & drinks also. Good coffee & good wines. Warm welcome. Works well.
