3 weeks ago our flight from Syd to Bne was diverted to Mcy as a huge thunderstom hit Bne as we were about to land...we sat on the plane at Mcy for 90 mins before flying back to Bne

Weather is affecting flights from CBR all the way up to BNE. Even flights MEL-SYD did some extra mileage around weather near ACT, pity you don't earn miles on actual miles flown.

No it was coming from Narangba and through to Boondall and onto Airport. Raining heavily here at Chermside now, so we got the tail end

BNE Airport was closed for a while after the Melbourne Cup. Thankfully not too many delays.
