Brisbane (BNE) Airport - possible weather delays

Onboard QF563 but things have slowed down a bit. Weather doesn't look to bad.

Came from Gold Coast to BNE, drive was challenging in the stormy weather but now it’s all fine at the airport and no delays showing for my flight ATM.

Why didn't you say hello? Still here. Only 4 flights have pushed back in that time. We're number 2 in queue now.
 
Seems I’ve just missed you @JohnK by few minutes.
Spoke too soon and my flight ended up delayed by 20min but not complaining as I got to catch up with @AIRwin.

A number of flights out of BNE have already been delayed/cancelled...
 
@Hvr as luck would have it @JohnK is travelling tonight. So far they haven't touched my flight but cancelled most flights around my flight.

Storm was due earlier but delayed to have maximum impact. Hope everyone stays safe.
 
Get comfortable JohnK the radar at 4.50pm local time suggests you are going nowhere. Bucketing down in the CBD
 
QF547 has just been cancelled. No available flights tonight. If you're not a local accommodation will be provided.

Hold tight. There could be more.
 
QF545, QF547, QF549, QF551, QF553 and QF555 all cancelled. For the time being QF563 and QF559 are scheduled to depart.

Weather has cleared. I don't remember anything this bad in the 11 years I've been commuting.
 
Well, if the operating aircraft can't get to BNE because those flights are cancelled, then it makes sense. So are you on one of the scheduled to depart flights @JohnK?
