The closest parking to the terminal is actually long term after 5 hours, its never full and easy to use.........

What is this long term after 5 hrs bit - do you mean the big multi-storey? It's hopeless you just go around and aroound going higher and higher.

Nope, nothing to do with the long term car park, its a car park that is the closest to the terminal, is not crowded because most dont realise its existance and charges long term rates after 5 hours, short term rates up till 5 hours, but SHHH, dont tell anyone :shock:

Markis, i know EXACTLY what you are talking about and i agree, its the best place to park when using QF,

Only problem is when using DJ , it can be a l o n g walk ,, but still much easier then the regular car park to get in and out ,, and always almost empty.

i dont know why more people dont use it !

From the Brisbane Airport website:
Don't know why they don't want to duplicate the multi-level arrivals/departures roads similar to the INT terminal.

As a guess they probably can't/won't do an elevated road because the train line/train station will get in the way for most of the terminal length.

hopefully they do the segregated drop off arrangement outlined by others here.
