I've had several others in the past 10 or so visits (including a very nice seafood pasta), though none of these struck me as particularly SA. The offerings have been high quality overall, however. Pie floater has only been on offer on one of those visits.

Seen it probably 3 or 4 times but have given it a miss as the first one I had there I wasn’t impressed and quite a poor imitation.
I’ll stick to my regular haunts for my regular floater fix

Not being a native South Australian, I am not equipped to expertly review pie floaters. I gave it a miss on that occasion.

That’s their version of P F

[Cloud9]

Oddest looking pea soup I've ever seen.

This is what they should look like. The dead horse is optional but I pile it on.
This isn’t one of mine BTW

Looks even better at 2am when you're absolutely tanked up.

Mushy peas in fact. On top of it. Not a true floater but it's nice.

Starting to look like a proper floater from the old pie cart.

Doesn’t look right without chips. Would still polish that off though.

I hope the pie is upside down.

[jase05]

I hope the pie is upside down.

That’s not one of mine but pretty much all the places in Adelaide I haunt that serve them do have them upside down. I’ve only had to remind a couple of places before

The current menu at the Market Stand. I was in too early to try them. On the weekends, Qantas close the Qantas Club and put everyone in the Business lounge which is nice but unfortunately it makes it hard to find a seat at times.

Ime the QC is still available for seating on weekends but you need to walk through the hallway at the rear of the bathrooms which will be left open.

It is very poorly signed, usually just one near the “nook,” area point to more seating and that’s it. no one else has been in there the times I’ve ventured through.

A very un-South Australian spelling of Yiros.

A very un-South Australian spelling of Yiros.

I went to school in Adelaide, and they taught us how to spell in those days:

“Wit ………”

Reminds me of those church or school notice signs that come with a set of letters, and what happens when you haven't finished a message but run out of one of those letters. Or someone decided to steal the letters.
