This is actually the first time I'm visiting NZ. The gf and I are getting there a few days early and we plan to take a few photos of the beautiful sights!

I also plan on taking lots of photos of the steak dinner and Saturday lunch! I'll upload all the photos as frequently ad possible! Stay tuned everyone :)

Are there any dare-devils amongst the AKL trip group?

I'm thinking about doing the SkyTower Sky Jump (see SkyJump! Auckland) on the Monday morning before flying back Monday afternoon and as well as the ridiculously cheap industry rate they've offered me, they've also extended an offer for one only friend or family member to join me at the child rate of NZD175, just thought i'd see if any adrenalin junkies might be keen.

TG

Not likely.

Even if it was free, forget it. A few years ago, I was offered a free Sydney Harbour Bridge climb, and I turned it down immediately. What's the fear of heights called again?

Not so keen on a bungee jump but would love to do the Sydney Harbour bridge climb.

I don't plan on spending too much money, lunch is the main event.

Yes. Pass on the dare devil activities! I'm happy to watch! :)

You can watch from the top of skytower. They have a countdown clock to the next jumper and they stop right out side the window as they bounce up and down for that "Kodak moment".

Enjoy TG, it looked like a blast (would never do it though).

Greg.

Yep.

Here's a video I took last year when I was there:
Sky Tower - Auckland - Skyjump - YouTube

(I didn't jump though)

But, if you're afraid of heights then maybe you don't want to go up there. The elevators also have glass floors. Here's the view I filmed going up:
Sky Tower - Auckland - Elevator - YouTube

Having said that, don't go up Willis (Sears) Tower in Chicago either. Some of you may have seen my previous profile photo taken in this glass cube: P1000802.jpg

I'd just like a brief list of those who want transfers and those who wish to attend Steak night and winery tour... Can this please be done as soon as possible so I can finalise numbers. Thanks.
